All so very close... It's an echidna! Strangely enough, the echidna is no relation to the hedgehog or the porcupine.

Hmm - I'm suspicious of the girl's finesse...
When she says not totally, that is not totally not...
...which would lead me to believe that it is a satellite view, with maybe the ocean in the far background, but the thing in question is something atmospheric...
But then again, I'll try something totally different:

Thanks a lot Glance!  I gotta admit, I was pretty obscure with my only guess being "The Surface of the Ocean," I'll try to make more descriptive guesses.
