A discussion can't hurt, everyone is free to talk, but stay polite to eachother and stop calling names or cursing. It's not gonna help anyone here but it gives the whole forum a bad look.
This is a crisis, everyone will get through this, let's stick together and fight over pm's.
I'm sorry so many members are leaving, for one person. I would say, to use Eminem's words:
"Straighten up little soldier, stiffen up that upper lip, what you're crying about, you got me?" ;D

Ok people its time for a reality check...the only person that should get even remotely worked up about a message board is the person that runs it...and that would be EK...otherwise take into account that you are letting someone you dont actually know bother you digitally...if you dont like it go outside and do something else...ignoring people is really the only effective way of getting rid of trolls etc etc etc...terror (I know you are reading this) I know you are oft a belligerent cranky old man...but I found our (not so recent unfortunately) arguments quite entertaining... So in short THIS IS THE INTERNET, gain some testicular fortitude and get over it... Oh, and as a reference I just wanted to say hi to everyone...  |

I dunno if it -shouldn't- bother most Nero, as it is a community you subject and identify yourself with, like any other community you might come across. But I do agree that people shouldn't let it get under their skin.

I had a bad weekend full of headaches - which is why I wasn't online when something hit the fan. After reading what happened I actually think the Mod Squad reacted appropriately in that it - MODERATED, namely a discussion that got a little too heated.
Winterfox may be difficult to argue with, or argue against, depending on the viewpoint - challenging, but certainly not useless.
The creation of this thread to the contrary was - and the tone is more than just 'pushing it', as Fille called it in the other thread.
I hope this is a lesson learned to develop a longer or at least slower burning fuse to some of the arguing grenades here...
Not every biting sarcasm or witty cynism is a personal attack, nor should it be assumed or presumed that such is always easily and correctly understood by a personally unkown counterpart.
This is communication - the sender is as much responsible for (mis)understandings as the receiver.
