Leim raised his hand and tighten the wraps. “I careless if you’re the warlord of the all 12 provinces.. “ he smiled evilly at Stelrein. “Your not getting pass me till you answer me do you have Rasidar-dono orders to do this or is this your will?” Leim eyes were almost a glow. “I am willing to bet you’re not under orders.. “ he said as finish tightening his hand wraps.
“I think he meant if he was hinder by actions or unavailable for council..” he titled his head as he looked at Stelrein . “Have you even try to talk to him or like with the barrier you just do and do not think.” he laugh a bit. “I forgot who I am talking about of course you didn’t ask anyone you to self center to look beyond your noise for aid .. “ he shrugged.
He looks at the nameless girl. “I would say something to you but really I don’t want you to break in to tears and run away again..” he place his hands behind his back. “Besides the sprits frown on messing with the weak of soul.” he seem totally none interest in the girl as if she was nothing of importance.
He watches as Stelrein ask Zu to judge and the djinn answer him. “Zu-kun has honor and understands not to take a stand in a conflict that not his to interfere in.” his smile grew. “That leave you only with going threw me or getting Rasidar either way you lose really cause you can’t beat me in combat..” and he smiled at Stelrein. “Plus you don’t have Rasidar-dono orders so he will ask why you didn't come to him first.” he said in a very matter factly way.
When Rasidar enters the room he smiled. ”I don’t have a weapon drawn I am just asking questions and wanting answers..” he looked at Stelrein. “These two are the ones wanting to start conflict but maybe this how soldiers in your country act.” his eyes still sparking with his own anger.
“Did you order this man to take items from the rooms and bring them here? Is there a point to this beyond him feeling important? I mean he doesn’t even have anything important here but he wants it under lock and key like a fool.” he looked over Lor. “But I maybe wrong these two may be under your order and they may have reason for everything.” he said as sighed. “But I doubt it..”

Rasidar realizes that he has missed out on a crucial part of the story. He finds it strange that Stelrein and Loriana would intentionally start a conflict. It seemed unlike them. At the same time, while Leim was quick to anger, he usually did not go into a rage unless he was provoked. He needed to learn more.
"`Tis well, then," Rasidar says, nodding. Leim was not known to be dishonest. "I ask only that no one draw arms for the moment. We are guests in this hall."
"Kindly lower your shield," he says to Stelrein, his tone calm but firm. "Leim has stated he has no intention to use a weapon. You and Loriana are in no danger. I would discuss this like reasonable folk."
Rasidar looks surprised when Leim asks whether he had ordered Stelrein to lock the items.
"I made no such request," he says firmly. "Had I been consulted on this matter, perhaps I might have approved it, given sufficient cause. But I know nothing of such a plan."
He turns again to Stelrein and Loriana. He needed to understand how this conflict started, and there was much information he still needed.
"Is this true?" Rasidar asks, his voice neutral. "What had you intended to do with these items?"

Alexis nodded to herself as she listened to Ash as she explained what was the deal with the blue. She smirked slightly and shook her head. “That bottle must be huge if it could get him in it.” She said tilting her tell back. “It’s very noble you two on wanting to free the djinn.”
“And I would be very thankful if you handle my introduction with the Djinn. You seem like some he can trust.” She then gave her a wirery grin. “And I think it’s best if I stay on his good side.”
“I saw it too.” Lex admitted with a frown as her fingers trace the image seeming to trap behind the glass. Her fingers travel every inch of the window trying searching for any hidden triggers or something her eyes may have missed, for when dealing with magic you can‘t always trust your eyes. “The moving I mean.”
(E- Does Lex find any triggers or anything else odd that she wouldn’t detect by looking at it?)
“I want to see if we can break it but we can do that after we open your chest.” She said thoughtful as she nodded to herself as she thinks thing over her head. “We need to be careful on breaking it magic tends to have a way of exploding when you break something bound with it.” She nodded to the wardrobe. “We probably when we do it should pull out the wardrobe so the other can use it as shield to protect us from any exploding when we do break it.”
Finally Alexis stepped away from the window and walked towards Ash as she began to throw about the clothes. She made a face at the dresses. “Not really me. I need something that’s a tight fit and dark in color.” She said held up a dress studying it for a moment unsure how anyone would want to wear one, all the cloth just seems to bog down movement.
She dropped the dress and return to looking for more suitable clothes. She kneeled going to through the shoes and boots looking for the right shoes, deciding to work her way up. For a thief a shoe is very important they have to be a good fit and have traction, something good for both sneaking and running when she had to, Finding a suitable pair of black boots she sat them to the side and looked to Ash. “Well I got me some boots that I can sneak in. Now let’s see if I can improve on the rest of my outfit.”
“See if you can find a belt with some pouches for me.” She said as she began to look through the wardrobe for breechers or trouser that were a closer fit and a darker color. “I think I’ll be all set then.”

Mao frowns in surprise when Rasidar suddenly says that Zumir summoned him to his room. When he mentions that Zumir fears for blood to be shed, she becomes obviously worried and the potential scenarios string through her head at full speed... Homm's hypothetic attacker? One of the newly-awaken guys? Leim? Stelrein, Ash (though they'd probably have heard it if it was her...), Cedric, Lor?
She nods when Rasidar says he'd like her assistance but doesn't want Melissa to be left alone, speaking her thoughts out loud. She feels the need to hurry there immediately but can hardly resolve herself to leave Melissa and Homm alone as well.
"It's next to the demon room," Mao adds Melissa. "If you feel good enough, I'd prefer that you come; I'll help you if you need and bring the stretcher in case and to bring you back if needed."
Then, turning to Homm, she says: "I'd like you to come too if we go, and I might need help."

"Noble, nah, we just want to help. It's not fair for someone, even a big blue guy, to be treated like that." Ash wrinkles her nose and thinks for a moment. "Not that big, I don't think. Zu said he lived in the clouds, so I don't think he would live in it. He said it was a blue bottle on a silver chain and that it was some kind of a charm. I think he said it was made a long time ago by an evil human. He said his people killed the guy but he had already made a dozen bottle charms before they could do it. So I guess there are still more of Zu's people bound to bottles. He said if we could find it and bring it to him, he could break it with Cloudbreak.... I think that is what he said the name of his sword was...... and be free.
"Hey, if you want, you can help us. I don't think Leim would mind." Ash grins and says "Well, as long as you don't keep patting him on the head. I kinda got the idea he didn't like being patted on the head. He was grumbling about that before I left."
"You got it," says Ash smiling at her. "If Leim isn't still talking to him when we get through with that chest in the big room, I can introduce you to him then."
***************
"OK," says Ash excitedly. "Maybe Leim will be around by then to help. I don't see how it could be a window though. How do you get at city inside a wall, but I know I saw something move. Do you think it could be a magic doorway to the city? If we could find a way to open it then we could go there and explore."
"OK, I'll see if I can find you a belt with some pouches." Lexie and Ash rumage through the wardrobe looking for stuff that Lexie might want to wear. "Nope, this want do." Ash keeps picking up stuff and tossing it on the floor bedside her, sometimes throwing it over her shoulder behind her. "How about......nah, you don't want that."
*Elliot - can Ash and Lexie find clothes and a belt with pouches for her to wear. if not can they rip up some of the clothes or covers from the bed and make Lexie some pouches*

Stelrein lowers the shield. There was something amiss here.
"I had no intention of hurting Leim," he gestures at the arm that he would normally have a mace in, it is currently carrying the items from the room.
He looks to Rasidar, "I've been hearing some of the group grumbling about the possession of items. I figured I would consult you about this issue, then I remembered Zumir was holding a jade dragon safely. He had informed me that Leim brought it to him."
He looks to the dragon Zumir protects, "Since Zumir said I was not to look at it I figured it was by your order Rasidar to have such items guarded for the time being, at least until it could be discussed further."
Stelrein looked toward Leim then Rasidar, "My request was that only Rasidar have access to the items in order to prevent any misunderstanding." Stelrein looks directly at Rasidar, Stelrein seems a bit confused, "Didn't you order Leim to take items to Zumir?"

Rasidar gives Stelrein a satisfied nod when he lowers his shield. If nothing else, he had prevented any blood being shed for the time being.
Rasidar finds this somewhat odd, since no one had mentioned any grumblings about items to him previously. Still, he admits that it was not outside the realm of possibility. He could not be everywhere, and perhaps someone had not wanted to bring it up to him for some reason. For now, he offers a tacit nod and looks to Stelrein again.
"You should have come to me with this matter first," Rasidar says. "`Twould have prevented this disturbance had you done so. If you meant the items to remain in my care, then you should have approached me in any case. `Twas an unwise decision. Still, inventory is an issue of valid concern... and one that shall be addressed at the meeting."
"However, I know nothing of the dragon, and if it remains in Zumir's keeping, `twas not by any order of mine." He looks to Leim with an inquisitive glance. Keeping an even tone, he addresses Leim. "Would you care to explain why you left the dragon with Zumir? Why had you not mentioned this to me earlier?"

Leim shrugged and shook his head. “So this cause I cut you off from the dragon? Well guess I was right in think it probly cause someone to do something stupid. But that is your rice and fish isn’t it Stel?” his eyes focus on the dragon. “I brought it in here to see if it had any powers. I also brought in here to get a better understanding of Zu-kun.” he looked at Rasidar. “I did not trust him and I want to know what he was all about.” he sighed a bit. “He has proven a trusted ally and he has shown we both have a great deal in common with our previous interaction with people.” he point at Rasidar.
“This was during the time you were allow this idiot to go about and do as he please making dumb orders and marching about like a horse’s ass/” Leim nodded. “He had just endanger the whole party and you were allowing him to do as he wanted, “ he said with very determine nod. “You had no control over him then and you still don’t have any over him now.” He said as if it this was partly Rasidar fought.
He sighed a bit “Anyways Zu-kun say he wouldn’t explain the power till he was free and acted oddly toward which I suppose means it has some measure of power that even a Djinn may desire.” he said as he walked past Stel. “Since I was trying to get away at the time from you all I had no interest in sharing it with you or your party.” he walked past the girl did even bother to look at her. ”I gave it Zu-kun to hold till I came for it. None of you were given permission to take it.”
“I am not here on a holy quest or for power Rasidar-dono. I am here because your people stole me from my proper place. “ He looked back at Stelrein and the girl. “I been hit, insulted, push and ask to dishonor myself since waking in this place.” his eyes narrow toward Rasidar. “I had no desire to be here and no desire to stay in Davor once I am free from here.” his fist clenched in front of him.
He then sighed. “Then for reason that are my own I decide to give the majority of you a second chance.” he looked back at Stel and the girl. “Stelrein and that girl have both lay hands on me so they can not be forgiven ever.” he looked at Rasidar. “But I have plan to give you and the rest a chance to improve my view of your country.”
Leim hand shot open and toward Zu. “Rasidar-dono sees for yourself. Ask Zu-kun if you can see the dragon,” he said not caring if he did or not. “I am going take that dragon as payment for my work here tho. I figure it should cover my expensive to get back to my land,” he said in a tone that held little debate.
“I have no contract with you people so I can choose my payment as I see fit for all my work unless you want to make up a contract determining my payment I will see if I can work one out for myself and Ash-chan who been doing the majority of the work while some napped or change from party dresses.” he walked away from Rasidar.
”But I will not be under Stelrein command under any reason he shown he cares nothing for his comrades.” his eyes narrow. “He didn’t even come and check on Ash-chan when the mirror reacted the way it did.” his eyes narrow at Stel. “I have told Rasidar I am going kill Stelrein but I swore to you I would restrain myself but if he doesn’t stay out my way he going die sooner than I plan.”

Rasidar & Mao
Melissa looks uncertainly at you both for a moment, then nods. "I'll come," she says, though she doesn't sound very eager.
She follows you to Zumir's room, then observes the proceedings quietly, keeping behind Rasidar and looking out from nehind his back. Mao will notice, however, that Melissa keeps her hands free.
Lexie
There appear to be no hidden catches on the window frame.
Ash
You can find plenty of clothes of all types, but no pouches. You can improvise those as normal, however.

Stelrein pulls Rasidar down the corridor that leads to the Awakening room. "I need some words with you sir knight." He looked back to Loriana not wanting her to remain with the violent and unpredictable Leim. "You are welcome to come too Loriana."
If Rasidar does not resist, Stelrein will lead them to the tube room.
He turns to Zumir before leaving, "If you wouldn't mind could we have some privacy Good Zumir?" He gestures to the door they are leaving through. Stelrein takes with him one of the packs he has prepared.
Loriana follows.
He looks to Rasidar, "Unwise?" he raises an eyebrow. "Surely good knight we do have some misunderstandings and I believe they should be voiced now before the meeting."
He makes a head gesture towards where they had come from, "The first of which is that, boy," Stelrein is unable to find any other word for Leim without being vulgar. "indeed he is a boy since he acts like one."
He looks seriously at Rasidar, "Allow me this moment to list my grievences. First, he claims I wasted mana saving the life of Melissa. By your own account is saving a life a bad deed? Second, I give him a light source which he breaks into shards. If he asked I would have given him an already broken globe so we wouldn't waste mana. Third, he speaks of open distrust of Good Zumir, then under his own volition without anyone's knowledge gives his supposed enemy a valuable and powerful item. We are only blessed by all the gods that Zumir is as honorable as he is. If that shows no regard for comrades by Leim I don't know what else does."
Stelrein pauses to cool down and speaks more calmly, "I have been insulted by him numerous times and the only reason I don't gut him is because your order not to take any disciplinary actions. He makes light of my own actions and makes them seem pitiful to his common acts of thieving. I continued searching the rooms because you and Mao were occupied with a more important task of aiding the Lady Melissa. Needless to say our group needs beds to sleep in so I reinitiated the scouting of the rooms."
Stelrein takes another breath and closes his eyes for a moment before continuing, "As second in command it is usually my responsibility to carry out initiatives as I see fit. It is also my job to see that the main commander is not the one in danger. Any and every time I've done this you have called my actions unwise. I'm disappointed in the handling of certain situations. You have countermanded me in front of the others robbing me of any authority I might have previously had."
Stelrein rubs his temples, "As a soldier I will follow direct orders as given. However, in life I was a captain and many times set out into combat with only vague orders. It was my job to think and tnterpret. If you wish me to take less action then I request not to have any command authority. Of course, no one seems to listen much anyway."
Stelrein lowers his hand, "You and Mao seem to treate Leim as if he is a fragile child and are afraid to upset him. Do you want to hear my childhood?" Stelrein looks right into Rasidar's eyes. Rasidar can see a mixture of pain, hatred, sorrow, and many more confused emotions in his eyes. "I'll tell you." Stelrein is horrified that he now remembers a good portion of his childhood.
"My earliest memory was age 11. My mother was a whore and I had no father. I did have an older sister though..." his eyes go distant, "I can't remember her name, none the less our mother, since that's all we shared. She didn't want her children subjected to the whore house. So we were practically orphans."
Stelrein turns away, "We scrounged for anything to eat, sometimes even rats," he shrugs as if this didn't bother him. "I imagine we'd survive well enough if it wasn't for that night. We were over by the docks since many of the places threw out some fairly good fish parts, heads and the like. Well, it was by one of these places..." he stops as if in concentration, then he turns and smiles a truly hiddious smile at Rasidar. "It was called the burning maiden," his body shutters at this name.
Stelrein retrieves some ale from his pack. He sits leaning his back against the wall. "You see, the place had a specialty. Drinks that were actually on fire. Of course you'd blow them out before you drank them." He looks down and closes his eyes not really wanting to relive this part, "There was a group of men that spotted us. We were too busy with an actual whole fish that we didn't see or hear them. They proceeded to use my sister and made me watch." He laughed dryly, "They said it was a good education for me. It wasn't until the last man was done that they had their brilliant idea," Stelrein throws his hands up to emphasize the point.
In a soft voice he says, "They wanted to make a real burning maiden. I believe they used a combination of ale and their own waste. Then they lit her up. The whole time they made me watch." Stelrein's teeth grind together. "The only thing that saved me was the fact that they couldn't decide what to call a male version of their new personal favorite drink. I think the most clever one was the Burning Bastard."
Stelrein looks up and there are no tears in his eyes only a sad dim look about them. "It was around that time that a group of soldiers stopped the men, but it was too late for my sister."
Stelrein holds out the skin to Rasidar. "You know, we look young here, but I think this place makes me feel ten times older than I ever was, drink?" Stelrein's eyes move past Rasidar and focus on Loriana, "I'm sorry my lady many of the words I spoke are probably unsuitable for you."

Loriana had been holding her tongue because she wanted nothing more than to admonish Leim about his false words. But Stelrein turned her growing anger to curiosity when he invited her to go with him and Rasidar.
At Stelrein's story of his childhood, her eyes soften and she went to him, putting a hand on his arm, softly reassuring him, "No worries."
She turns to Rasidar, "Though you did not tell me to search the rooms, I took initiative to do so and collect items I thought might be useful. I wished to keep them safe all in one place, but an incident made me wonder where the safest place might be until we could find you. Rasidar, you have not made yourself very available lately. So we would have consulted you first, but were unsure if you were busy." she pauses, "Stelrein believed the items would be safe with Zumir. I agreed."
She looks squarely at Rasidar, "But if you would rather I not take initiative, then please tell me so. I will do nothing and be as useless as Leim says I am. But I will not stand to be insulted and sullied. I have made mistakes lately because of my insecurities, so many here think I am a loon or soft or... whatever. I don't care what they think. I just want out of here and I will do whater I can to help. If it is to shut up and be quiet, then I will. If it is to follow like a sheep, I will. If it is to scout ahead for dangers, I will risk my life. But no more of this." she spoke calmly and crisply.

Ash continues to dig through the clothes throwing stuff every which way. Finally being totally exasperated at finding nothing she looks at Lexie and says "I find belts, all kinds of belt, but nothing with a pouch or any pouches that you could attach to a belt. Looks like we will have to make you some kinda like what I did with the blanket they had me covered with."
She then picks up a piece of clothing that looks like it might make a decent pouch and asks "If you think this will do, I can start making you a pouch while you get dressed and then you can make you some more."
*assumes Lexie agrees*
Ash takes the garment in her hands and starts ripping it a part to make a pouch. She also tears some strips for strings so Lexie can have a way to close the pouch and attach it to her belt.

Alexis nodded as she listen to Ash explain more about the djinn. She shook her head when people cruelness and want for control didn’t seem to be for just their own but other species as well. She kept her thoughts to herself doubting Ash wanted to hear her damn mankind.
“Sounds like an adventure and some coin to be there.” Lexie said with a smiled and a tilt of her head. “I don’t pass up an opportunity for adventure or make a profit.”
She was uneasy about being introduced to the big djinn. She was sure she would say something wrong and unsure she could survive the wraith of an angry djinn, but then again their was a slim chance she could get on the djnn’s good side and it was always good to have big and powerful friends. Lexie did always like playing the odds.
“Well it wouldn’t hurt to get to know someone that big and fierce looking.”
******
"OK," says Ash excitedly. "Maybe Leim will be around by then to help. I don't see how it could be a window though. How do you get at city inside a wall, but I know I saw something move. Do you think it could be a magic doorway to the city? If we could find a way to open it then we could go there and explore."
“I don’t think it’s a window either, but maybe a portal of some kind. It might even be are way out of here. Then again knowing mana users it could be anything, they are odd lot.” She said with a slight shrug still mentally trying to figure out the true purpose of the window. “But I pretty sure it’s not just here to look pretty.”
“Though I sure we are going to run this Rasidar first. I don’t think he would like things exploding with out him having fair warning first.” She said with a sigh once she gave it more thought, figuring if it was her gang planning to do something as dangerous. “His sword might be useful if something comes out of it.”
Finding a pair of soft leather dark brown breacher excited her; just finding something that was close to what she normally wore was oddly thrilling. Maybe because it gave her some connection to whom she was before she woken up here. She didn’t really want to give it much thought just setting them to the side before starting looking for a tunic or shirt to go with it.
“A good thick belt with some homemade pounches seems good. “ She said with a nod as she held up one shirt after another before settling on a dark emerald tunic that she thought would look nice with her hair. “Make sure to make one large enough for my new plate and cup.”
“Once you do that I think I will finally look like a proper thief.” Lexie said with a wide smile. “And then we can get down to business.”
"Though, I may need a cloak with hood for when we get out of here."

***they've been talking about trying to break the magic window****
Ash looks at her and grins. "Yeah, good idea. He gets kinda touchy when he's not kept informed. I think he's afraid I'll go off and get him into trouble. I'll show you the mural in the other room, then you can see if you can open that chest and then unless there is something else you want to do we can ask him about breaking trying to break the window."
Ash continues to work on the pouch while Lexie hunts a shirt and gets dressed. Finally she holds it up, looks at it and then hands it to Lexie. "Here see if they will fit in this one. I think it should be big enough. If not we just try again."
Seeing the shirt Lexie has put on Ash smiles and says "Good pick. That shirt looks really good on you and it fits too."
She then goes back to making another pouch.
When they have the pouches made and Lexie is ready, Ash says "Come on. The mural is in the room across from where Stel and Lor are. Some of the furniture is painted into the mural and there are djinn playing in the clouds and there is even a dragon in it."
Reaching the room, Ash goes in, looks at Lexie and asks "See. Isn't that cool? Look how that chest blends into the mural. It looks like it is part of the picture and if you don't look carefull, you don't even realize it's a real chest. That's what happened to me the first time I came in here."

Having finally succeeded in collecting ten phials of demon blood, Cedric gathers them up and proceeds to Zumir's room.
Arriving there he asks the djinn, "I have gathered some of the demon's blood - would you know of any specific properties of such? Is it poisonous? Will it enhance weapons for example? Do you know of any use for it, maybe with other reagents?"

Mao motions towards the stretcher-of fortune and asks to Homm: "Could you help me to carry that, please? We can bring the parts separately; I'll bring the blanket to be able to help Melissa if she needs as well and I'd like if you could bring the planks."
If he agrees and does so, Mao takes the blanket used to make the stretcher and stays beside Melissa with an arm free to catch or support her if she needs while the three get to Zumir's room, keeping an eye on Homm as well. If not, she tries to carry everything herself and stays close to Melissa, ready to drop her stock at any moment to help.
Once they reach the group and that she sees that nobody's hurt yet, she [drops the planks/motions to Homm to do so] beside the door with a sigh of relief and observes what's going on, keeping an eye on Homm and Melissa. She nods a sorry hello to Zumir, uneasy that he seems to have been drawn in the middle of such dispute.
She notices that Melissa hides behind Rasidar's back, quiet but keeping her hands free; probably to be able to cast a spell or be up to do some defensive move should she feel threatened? She feels that the woman must feel more insecure in the current situation, so she remains beside her, a little in retreat from Rasidar's position.

Homm nods at her & proceeds to carry the planks & follow Mao to Zumir's room.
once they arrive there, he stands just outside the room, by the door, & looks in.
when Mao motions for him to drop the planks, he nods at her but he keeps the planks on his shoulder while he continues to look into the room ...

“He seems a bit uptight, the kind of guy who needs to know everything that is going on. Then again most people involved with holy orders are control freaks.“ Alexis nodded and smirked slightly. “Lead and I will follow. I don’t got any other place I got to be.“ She paused and frowned slightly wondering if she was possibly here for a reason she didn‘t remember. “Least I don’t think I do.”
************
Lexie wound the belt around her waist and tighten it then looked to Ash. “Perfect. You are really handy to have around.” She said as she smoothed her tunic after hiding pins in the hem and sleeves for later use. “When I get something worth something I will pay you for your help.” She put her cup and plate into the largest pouch and hung it from her belt. She moved around a bit to see if it would sit uncomfortable when she walked or make noise when she needed to sneak. She smiled pleased with the final product. “Perfect. Now I am ready for some exploring.”
Alexis eagerly followed Ash. She wanted to see a much as could of this place and hope she could find some better loot then her dishes. Upon stepping into Lexie eyes grew wide, as thief she had seen the inside of many rooms but she never saw anything like this before. Her eyes traveled over the mural as she stepped back trying to take it all in.
Lexie blinked quickly, for a moment she forgot she was with Ash. “It’s amazing, then again I always been a sucker for craftsmanship. It must have taken forever to do this. “ She said and smiled slightly. “This guy either was really bored or really liked to paint.”
Alexis pointed to the djinn painted on to the wall and looked to Ash. “I wonder if the guy who did the mural knew your djinn friend.”
She stepped towards the chest almost if it was a natural impulse for her. “Have you guys already gone through the chest?” She asked her eyes once again going to the mural. “And do any of the rooms here look normal?”
