Hey, I was just listening to the songs on their first CD and I recognized Tomorrow - my local radio stations play it. Just thought y'all might want to know. ^_^

Tomorrow is one of the best tracks from their first album, so I am not surprised You might well have heard It's About Time too

Jeez, that's a long time. But then I haven't gotten their first CD yet, so this gives me more time to delay, uh, I mean, get it. ^_~

Really good album They haven't just put all the good tunes on MySpace and filled the album with junk, either. There's not a bad song, and some of them show an overt Blondie influence, which they carry off very well. Edit: Poor Little Girl is probably the standout track, and that is very Blondie.

This just got posted on Lillix's official MySpaceHello Friends of Lillix. We hope everyone had a fantastic new years and here's to the best in 07'. Im sure all of you have been wondering what's going on with Lillix? It's time to let you all know that we have decided to take a break. It has been 9 years. We've accomplished a lot, almost everything we intended to. It has been a lot of fun, a lot of hard work, but also a lot of frustration. We'd like to thank all of you who have been so supportive through the years. We mean this from the bottom of our hearts. Unfortunately, this means that "Inside the Hollow" will not be available in any other country other than Canada and Japan. Sorry to those of you awaiting the release. It's time for a change, and in the meantime we will be pursuing other musical endeavours. We love you all and hope to see you again in this new chapter of our lives. Much Love and Appreciation, LILLIX Lacey-Lee, Tasha-Ray, Louise, and Alicia *** Definite pain, that! One of the most promising new groups around...

Well, this absolutely sucks. They had a great sound too. What a shame. Also explains why I couldn't find a copy of Inside The Hollow anywhere, sadly. I can still get it another way, fortunately. Still regrettable after all the wait, though...

Yeah that's so sad they broke up! At least I have some really good memories of Lillix. I have 2 autographed pics of them, cause I wrote to them and asked for an autographed pic twice. I'm not greedy but see at first I had an autographed pic of them with their first drummer Kim. Then when Kim left I wanted a new pic with their new drummer Alicia. So that's why. Plus I honestly got to chat with Lacey Lee from Lillix on AIM. I actually have the conversation saved on a disk so I never forget it. See they had their messenger names on their Official Site's Message Board so that's how I found out. It was so much fun chatting with her, and she was so polite!

I think I feel sorriest for Alicia out of all of them. It must be dreadful to join a band, release what to you is the first album and than bam! split! All that work to get somewhere... I can't think many of them will have much joy with solo projects, either. As talented as they are, you need a certain star quality to really get on in music as a solo performer. Tasha has it, the rest don't. That realisition will be a bitter pill for the others, I think. I just hope they get back together as soon as they do work it out

Looking more hopeful: From Lillix's MySpace:
The Evin Sisters (Tasha especially) are the main focus of Lillix, so losing the other two won't hurt them much.
I'm surprised at Louise leaving though, as they were good friends. Alicia, I have NO clue about.
Nonetheless, this bodes well for you Americans waiting on a US release...

Ah, good. I remain hopeful for a reunion, at least. On the other hand, I did finally get my copy of "Inside the Hollow" that I ordered. A decent album, all in all, though a mixed bag. The best tracks on it are the best I've heard from them, that said. Hopefully, they'll get the band rebuilt and improve from here.

As long as the Evin Sisters are still talking to each other, I guess there's hope ;D
