That's a wonderful set of finalists Rare for so many Brit teams to make the last 8. And only one Spanish team! That's virtually unheard of! Statistical blip - or the end of an era for Spain? Be interesting to find out...

Semi finals will be Milan/Manchester Chelsea/Liverpool I'd much rather have Milan face Totti and Roma, but I don't think they have a chance at beating United. But Milan will make it all the way through to play Chelsea for the trophy

I'm acually afraid Roma has a very good chance at beating United. United has not impressed in the last month or so (and not at all in CL in four years time), so if Roma has a good day we're in trouble. Then again, in the last month we've allso showed that we're great at winning against opponents who plays better than us ;D.
Apart from that, I believe in Pool and Chelsea, since they're both stronger teams (I believe Valencia's exelent defence might prove some trouble for Chelsea's not very creative squad though). I allso believe Bayern will manage to pull through against Milan, but not by much. These two teams acually seems weak, but if any of them will reach the final, it's Milan since their squad at least has some potential. If they manage to play it out, they'll be something to count on.

Interesting line up - and the best possible draw for 'Pool.
So far I think only United is a given semi finalist. 'Pool has a good chance against PSV but it's going to be hard. I'm undecided on Valencia - Chealsea and I have a feeling Munich will go through. I think this might be their year.

Be interesting to find out... Good question. I think it's just a statistical blip for now but a lot depends on what happens in both Barca and Madrid. Barca has an incredible squad but the players seems tired and lack the killer instinct they used to have. Maybe they've won too much. Madrid is a madhouse as usual and this can't be changed by firing the coach. The organisation from the president and down needs to have their positions evaluated. Money doesn't make a great team and I think it's been a mistake to go out and buy whoever is hot on the market. Madrid is in sore need of stability and a visionary organisation

PSV are the weakest team left in. On paper, at least...

Yes they are, Elliot.
But they beat out Arsenal and have a great tem spirit. Plus, this is the Champions League so anything goes, really.

Arsenal always do poorly in the CL though, for some reason. They get beaten every time by teams they should hammer - and would if they met them in the Prem.
They're the Spain of club football when it comes to the CL.

Tomorrow my Milan faces off against Bayern at 2:30 EST. I can't wait its going to be such a great game. We are finally just about as healthy as we were all season and now with Nesta and Kaladze back in defence, Bayern won't even score a goal. Unless of course Dida decides to chicken out and run away from the ball

half time 1-0 Milan.
Bayern goalie made 2 saves off Gilardino from 5 feet out otherwise should be 3-0
