What Anime Do You Watch?

As always I would like to recommend my #1 favorite anime to anyone interested
Black Cat. 25 episodes o r something. this anime is CLOSE to being so good, sadly the anime had to be a bit ... more joyful and child-friendly so to say... otherwise it has everything needed.
*A maincharacter with a sad past/childhood
*Quite dynamic story
*(Most important!) A mentally insane, powerfull evil maincharacter, who is 100% obsessed with the actual maincharacte, this is important
*Nice soundtrack
*Overall nice theme

hey, mobbie, have you seen Jigoku Shoujo?

dark but very good. i have just finished watching episode 10 and it has gotten better with each one. i've been really impressed with this one.

i loved elfen lied and innocent venus, but i'm almost tempted to say this one beats them.

Currently watching El Hazard - The Wanderers, which if I remember correctly is the second TV series... Anyway, it's pretty good. It starts off like the first one, similar story-lines, but it develops differently, especially in terms of characters. I like it a lot better so far. I think I've watched about 8 episodes.

Shan - I keep forgetting to ask Will about Elfen Lied. I keep thinking I'll remember when I talk to him, but I don't. So I'll send him an email, that's what we usually do when we can't talk to each other at the moment, but want to make sure to ask something and can't trust ourselves to remember. ^_^

I just finished Devilman Lady. It was different (and had mucho mature content ) but it was really cool too.

Many people are becoming beasts, and a secret army fights them with the help of one woman who can change but keep her humanity.

Shan - Will has not seen Elfen Lied, but he has heard that it's a serious fantasy story, so if you like those kinds of animes, you might like it.

Right now I am watching "The Third Aoi Hitomi No Shoujo" and so far it has been good.

Finished Shakugan No Shana not long ago which was very good. Right now I would have to say that it and Jigoku Shoujo rank at the very top of my favorite list.

I just finished Hellsing OVAs 1 and 2. Very very cool. ;D I like the way they retold and redesplayed the series.

I just wish they'd come out with the others faster. *cry*

They're not even sure of how many they're making, so I could still be collecting them for another year for all I know!

I'm trying to round up all of Full Metal Alchemist in english, and when I do, its an Anime spree for mee! ;D

so the Hellsing Ultimate (that's another name for the OVA's i think) is definitely more than 2 episodes. i am not so sure how many episodes more to go for the OVA. would be fun if there is more. i wonder if it's the same guy on the soundtrack as it was in the 13-episode series. i love the Led Zep-ish sound of the series.

Okay! Just finished watching all of FMA and the movie; yaaaayz! ;D

I loved it; really cool and fun all over. I was a little unhappy with their decision at the end of the movie tho. : /

I'm going to watch all the OVAs soon.
I've also started Gungrave, which is also very very cool.
And I'll be doing Death Note after that.

Good stuff. ;D
I'm getting my anime fix big time this year.

Hmmm, I've watched quite a bit and there're many series I never finished watching(not interested, too childish, etc.). These include Saiunkoku(too many characters to cement the characterisation), Kyou Karou something and many others. This is a partial list, I think:
Adult stuff = marked with H.

Mahou Shoujo Tai(I really liked this but it was kinda confusing at times),
Noir(I felt it was far too dragged out, and thus, the execution was too predictable.)

Samurai Champloo(I thought it was over-rated 'cos though the production values seemed rather high, I got bored halfway due to the predictability of the scenes and characters.)
Metropolis (totally horrible)
Dead leaves(What a mess this one was... it was rather conceptual but was so fast-paced, some scenes played out like on fast forward mode)
Wonderful days(not very interesting plot but slightly entertaining)
Agatha Christie (meh... it was so so)
Le Portrait de Petite Cossette(never finished this)
Genshiken(never finished this)
Scrapped Princess(Whatever I saw was enough to bore me)
Scryed(Many loved it, I watched the entire series and couldn't even like it.)

I really should give Crest of the Stars and a few other series like the Twelve Kingdoms(said to be extremely good.

Currently watching : La corda(not too bad).
Lined up: Yugo the negotiator, Higarushi Season one(Damn! I hope to play the Visual novel), Crest of the stars, Juuni Kokkuki(The twelve kingdoms), Tokyo grandfathers, Paprika, Zero no Tsukaima.

Watching Higurashi season 1. Will watch epi 5 soon. Man... that was intense. It's too bad they're not translating the visual novel series the anime is based on. I heard it's extremely good.

I read a bit of death note online, it looks good, but not quite my kind of story.

As far as I've heard fooly cooly is bizare and hard to understand. Let me know if you make any sense of it.

lol i watched it all in one evening.
its good if you want something quick as its only 6 eps long.
the first 3 are a bit confusing but set the scene. the action doesnt get going until towards the end of 4 but after 4 it was really good. the ending was a bit... random.
i'd recomend it to anyone who enjoys a challenge.

i'm gonna download death note live action part2 soon, the live action is AMAZINGLY well done, i sooo recommend it to all who enjoyed either the manga or anime! (L looks just like he does in the series, it's creepy!)
