"A blunt is a cigar or (L) which is wider than a cigarillo and not quite as wide as a traditional cigar. " Annie Brocoli". I dunno, I know its supposed to sound silly for kids but the name annoys me. She's the character of an actress/singer in Quebec; she does kid shows and songs. FYI.  It could just be because I never liked eating my broccoli as a child. ;D Killerzzz |

I heard that Pink is actually a very sensible and sensitive person.  I've seen a music CD called "Tribute to the Notorious B.I.G.". I vaguely remember a Rapper called "B.I.G." or even "Notorious B.I.G." being shot at one time so that he died, and thus this tribute CD was made for his memorial. By the way, I had an "Aha-effect" only a few days ago: I finally understood the meaning of the name "Cinderella" ... You know what a cinder is, don't you ... ? Ah, and my absolute favourite: "Jonny Depp". Because a "depp" is in Bavarian language kind of an idiot, nincompoop, simply a stupid person. AND in an interview recently he actually SAID he could live with this meaning ! (Of this name.) Another one: The famous Chinese pianist with the name "Lang Lang" (seems to be his actual, real, natural name). "Lang" means in German language simply "long". |

When talking stupid celeb names, Ben Affleck, in dutch his last name means licking off something, a reporter here confronted him with that translation, lucky Ben could laugh with it.... ;D

Heh... Pink! That's kinda interesting about her turning red. Oh gods @ EK: Pet shop boys...  I didn't have to know that. It's times like these where I wish I wasn't so obsessed with Urban Dictionary. And hmmm... how about the Cash in Johnny Cash? You'd have expected his eyes to be made of giant gold coins. ;D |

Hoodwinking the public like that is remarkably easy. Did you ever hear 'Nikita' by Elton John? It's a love song and he put this gorgeous girl in the video so that anyone ignorant of Russian names (IE most of us in the West) would not realise that Nikita is actually a man's name. Made me laugh, that did ;D
