So far I got... Clothes, jewellery, money, personal care stuff, an aquarium heater, gift certificates, the Filter Forge software, a similar wooden puzzle and chocolate. Happy camper! ;D

what did i get?
tealight candle holder, scented candle, assorted tea leaves, pair of shoes, clothes, imported cookies & chocs, wine.
this is a lot considering the fact that we hardly exchange gifts here on Christmas.

I got this collectors item from Playmobile, the whole fairyworld. A massaging desk chair, a tree stump display for my pixies, flowers and clothes. But the most important thing for me is my boyfriend, best gift I could get in 2008. My son is with me too and today one of my best friends is arriving from Amsterdam.
2008 was a rough year for me, but I'm glad I finally got my own place, my friends and my health. Even without material gifts, this christmas couldn't get any better!

Why do we always get stuff like that from them?
Typical gifts from the mothers: underwear, hankies and socks or clothes in general.
From the father and the big brother: tech stuff, like a cellphone or a digi cam, because they like it themselve soo much
From your sister: Bathroom products like showergels, shampoo etc...
Mother in law: Cook books (imagine if you don't feed your partner!) ;D
Friends: Gift certificates or naughty presents
Grandparents: usually the grandmom decides what to give and usually it's flowers or something from your childhood.
Any other ideas? ;D

I got 2 Futurama movies (Beast with a Billion Backs / Bender's Game) and Tales of Vesperia (XBOX 360 game). Family and entertainment, all I need. ;D We all enjoyed the movies.  Killerzzz |

I got the Band of Brothers book and a few maps of the Batlle of the Bulge (I'm planning to make a tour through the Ardennes, war tourism ;D) a huge canvas with a panorama of Times Square, NY on it, for decoration a few gift certificates for books, cd's and films a talk with my gf about some troubles we had the conclusion that I wasn't able to study for two weeks long, without any reason and while it's desperately needed to study... All in all it was a nice Christmas, apart from the studying problems |
