This is a thread so that we can post pictures and links about things we really want but probably can't afford. This thread will be more about clothes, shoes, household items, art.. That sort of thing. I need this, for instance:

The only thing I want is plane tickets so I can meet my international friends, but that's not really the same thing, is it?

I want a robot that does my washing, cleaning and cooking for me. That way I don't need to be afraid that it would snoop around the house, steal things, ask for a raise or take too many breaks ;D

Gal - there are selfthinking vacuum hoovers, washigng machines and microwaves - so actually, you already have all robots you need ^^ _______________________________________________ I liked and got today (yay for birthdays!): Oldfashioned Headphones! (because I don't like the modern ones at all) and this Cassette Bag! Woooot! _______________________________________________ ...and what I would still like to have...(but will never be able to affrod): The Caran d'Ache Fountain Pen '1010' - it's a friggin art piece! (I hate writing with biro or ball pens, if I can, I only write with fountain pens - but not of this price category )

@ Kitty: Cool!
@ Glance: My dad used a record player when he was young, but then again, we're talking about what we used (otherwise we can all say that our Granddads used the first radios). ;D
Hm... I've always wanted a Laptop of my own, I'll just have to wait and see...

I have a record player! I love it, though it is broken at the moment and.. now I'm sad. Let me see if I have a picture somewhere of the pretty..
Ehh, the only one I have is one with my old room (When I was 15) and I don't think anyone wants to see that. It's red!

STAR WARS POSTER! You rule girl! (and how is it that it's so clean! Hell!) We were moving and it had to be clean ALL THE TIME. I love that Star Wars poster! It is signed by Mark Hamil, James Earl Jones, Carrie Fisher, and possibly Harrison Ford. I can't tell.. My dad got it years and years ago. Edited to say that normally, my floor was covered in a foot of random stuff.

Phew, I'm happy you are normal. ;D Ah, in Family Care Indonesia, we are required to keep our rooms clean and presentable to guests every day at any time of the day. ;D @ Zee: Wow, that's the most modern-looking model of a record player I've ever seen! My Dad's one was the type with the big horn on top. ;D

Nice room you got there, I love the peace sign on your bed!! I used to a record player too, played 45' and 33' records hehe. Mine looked like a brown weekend bag though ;D I love retro stuff too, I wish I still had the stuff my mum had when she was younger. Too bad that I couldn't fit in her boots though, my feet are about 4 sizes too big But mum had very tiny feet, cuz she is a small lady ;D
