@ DPR: Yeah, true. Of course, now the MMO-RPG game market has gone beserk, with games like DOTA getting more and more gamers at an astonishingly high rate! As a result, I bet quite a few people would say Role-Playing Game. Naturally, most people would probably shrug at the abbreviation "RPG," the educated who are not PC-RPG addicts will say Rocket-Propelled Grenade, and the creative who know neither of the 2 would make up their own thing. ;D @ Gal: Yeah, now it's Tuesday! Please tell us what it was all about!

Hey guys, sorry it took me soo long to come back, but I'm still beaten from this festival called Pukkelpop but it was awesome ;D Anyway...where was I...ooh yeah! The RPG thingie! ;D Well my ex bf and I were discussing (as usual) and the abbriviation RPG came up. He said it meant Rocket Propelled Grenade and I said that if you would ask a random group of people what the first thing that comes to mind would be, they would prolly answer Role Playing Game Anyway, as usual, he was being an ass about it so i suggested i would post a poll on Chaos, without you guys knowing what this was all about. In that way you would all vote for either of them without choosing sides. Anyway, today I told him that both explanations are correct, but my answer was the one most voted for. He said that I prolly manipulated the poll and went sobbing about his loosing this personal contest thx guys for voting!! You were awesome!!

Yeah, not to mention NONE of us have even HELD an RPG... My Dad told me that when he his one-year mandatory draft service in the French Army back in 1972, the old RPG's were pretty dangerous to the shooter if he didn't have his helmet fastened on properly (he said one of his friends broke his nose!). ;D For my POV on the statistics of what the layman would call an RPG, you can see my post just before yours Gal! And congrats on beating your ex!

well - we may not be that random a group... No you're not to me, but should I have told him that? ;D
And congrats on beating your ex! For once it felt great that he cannot always be right. But the saddest part is that even now he starts sobbing about it, he's not a sportive looser

Why'd he be all sad about it? Goodness gracious, that means he's REALLY not a good loser! Getting sad about something as minor as this? What a pity, I know what it's like to be a bad loser. I was a VERY bad loser when I was a little kid (in sports, that is), I'd always cry when my team lost... But hey, part of manhood (adulthood, for that matter) is being willing to admit you were wrong, and apologizing for your mistakes, making them right, and moving on!

Yeah... People hanging online aren't necessarily the most likely not to make you win about this. ;D Tsk tsk tsk...

Yeah, not to mention NONE of us have even HELD an RPG... *Ahem* - that is a rather courageous assumption!^^ I mean, I for instance served two years in the Army - with the Panzers! - and I did have a certain interest in getting to know the weapon of the little fella in the bush targeting my Leopard...

Interesting! Yeah, I was mostly referring to the "U-21 squad" of CC. My Dad also drove tanks, he said it was his favorite part of being there, and to this day, he sometimes says (jokingly) "If I only had a tank, then I could plow through this traffic jam..." @ Fille: You have a real solid point there! I mean, many people who use online chat forums have played/will end up playing an CPU-RPG at some time or another... @ Gal: Don't worry, you can still bask in the air of your grand victory all you want, it's only been a few days. Besides, you'll have bragging rights for years and years... ;D

Rocket propelled grenade for me. Because I spent more time in a war simulator (Operation Flashpoint) than in propper role playing games (Guild Wars not counted in).
