I'm not talkin about physically. Like have your ideas or beliefs changed as you got older? I think like in 2003 I became a lot more open minded and I still am. I personally think it's a good thing.

So much... The more I've learned about people, the more reasonable I have become as a person, I think. 'Understanding brings control' is one of my main maxims, and the main thing it brings is an awareness of the value of others - not to me, but in and of themselves. More than anything else, I think that growing understanding has tempered me and made me a better person over the years. I think I am a gentler person, too. I believe very much that we are not perfect, but there is nothing that stops us trying to be. And what matters is not how far we succeed, but that we make the attempt. I fail and fall a lot, but I like to think I never stop trying

Good question. I've changed a lot during the last five years. I've gotten older and smarter (believe it or not ) and doesn't do the kind of stupid [Censored]I once did. I think a lot of the change can be attributed to the fact that I started believing in a future for myself and some goals I could accomplish. This especially happened from the latter part of 2004 and onward. It sounds terrible corny - but when you don't believe in a future at all, you pretty much don't care about anything.

I like to think I've changed a lot over the years, honestly. As a rule, I always try to make a point to learn from every experience as much as possible. Not just my own, but from those around me. I've always tried to live by this, and mostly I think I succeed. The object for me is to always change and take some new experience with me and grow from it. I believe the key to growth and improvement is to be constantly aware that we have our faults and that none of us can know everything. Most significantly? I've gained a stronger idea about my own capabilities than I had before. That led into a lot of other useful life lessons, directly or indirectly, that have helped me to better help others. There have been countless other lessons, and likely will be countless more still. There's still a lot I need to learn. But then, I accept there always will be.

Somewhere around 30, I realized how little other people's opinions matter to me. Ultimately, I have to answer to myself if I make an error in judgement.
And as a gay parent of a bi-racial toddler, I am extremely protective and ready to kick a$$ if someone looks at my family in any dis-approving manner. I will do anything to protect him and my s/o.
That is a far cry from who I was in my 20's. Let's just say I was a shallow tramp.

My main change is that I matured over the years. Yes, I can be mature if I want to. I've also realised that alot of my childhood interests were a real basis of my current and futur interests: creating cool stories. But, I've also come to a more dark understanding of the world, and I don't mean all that good'n'evil shabang, but just deep thought and infinite possibility in the function of the universe around us... ("Now he's a philosiphizer..." Quote! ) Boo! Ahh! I've also become more random. But thats just my crazy, nothing to pay attention to. ;D Killerzzz

I think I've gotten lazier and more complacent over the years. I remember having alot more motivation ten years ago to accomplish my goals.

I got a bit bigger since the 90s (sadly I can't eat things anymore without fearing to become bigger since then), more open-minded, more extrovert than before, more emotional than before, and more spiritual in a wayy than before.
The change began around the turn of the Millennium.
Every now and then I'm learning more about myself and developing myself. Right now, for example.

I have changed a lot. When I was a child, I was the cry baby of my school, being hated by everyone in class, having no friends and wearing second hand clothes all my young life. Over the years, I found out that being a clown worked positive for me so I learned to be extrovert, make more fun and I don't care about other peoples opinions about me anymore. Like GayTitan said before, being different then the ordinairy makes it sometimes harder to be accepted. I make friends a lot easier then before, I don't judge a book by the cover and I learned to FEEL how people think and are. Made a difference for me, now I don't meet that much bad people anymore. I also learned to deal with people that have gone through a lot, some are bitter, some are cynic, but with a little help they become a bit more happy again. (that was aside) In short, one thing never changed about me, I'm a positive, open minded person and I hope that this will NEVER change!

And for an honest answer... It's hard to tell. I've become stronger physically and emotion in certain spots...and much, much weaker in others. Like most, I have become much more protective of my family as public behavior gets worse and worse. I also catch myself looking over my shoulder fairly often. I'd like to think I've matured much more over the years, also....I'd LIKE to think.

I've become more practical then idealistic in my ideas.
Example: If you don't take the nuclear waste into account, Nuclear power is the only technical safe and clean way to go. (btw most nuclear wast is low radiation waste like, the Very strong radioactive waste is maybe a drum each year.
Also Have I embraced science and logic as the only way towards bettering mankind. Religion is fine but it doesn't help much in the current situation, and the missuses over the last couple of years really annoyed me. Give me the UN Human Rights over the bible any day.
Further more outgoing, more social, weight loss, bit more optimistic.

Well, I'd rather favour sunlight as THE energy source ... But it is still quite early for the technology to be as effective as other energy sources. But that's a different story ...
Here in Germany we have a looong hassle and search for places to store the nuclear waste ... People battling against it, and not finding anything *really* secure.
I believe the only thing could be space or the deep sea.

I agree solar power has to be further examined. But the current generation of solar power panels cost more energy to make that they will ever generate. Breakthroughs are being made though and it deserves the full motivation. And you can use solar "panels" to heat water for your house(things every one should do if the climate allows it). But to me the only power alternative that has any chance of delivering the amounts we are used to and without waste or CO2 exhaust would be nuclear fusion. But thats is stile decades away. But I know what you mean Alrik I am not a big fan of nuclear power plants but I just don't like the alternatives yet (based on technical stuff ,supply and demand, stability, pollution ...). I am also convinced people should be more careful with power good isolation and some simple stuff can really make a difference. and on topic: I've become even smarter
