Ruthlessly pirating RockerGrl's idea from the SSF, I thought it would be a great idea to dedicate songs to anyone you wanted to...
Great idea, RG! (And yes, I AM evil, now you come to mention it! ;D)
Song Dedications
To Peter, I dedicate Fat Man by Mammoth. And how I wish those titles were reversed ;D
To BJC, I'm In Love With My Guitar by Alexz Johnson. Though I think I need an X-rated version ;D
To Kylia, Crazy Chick by Charlotte Church. Does this one even need explaining? ;D
***
Over to you, guys and gals... Get dedicatin'! ;D

Wow Elliot is going around stealing my ideas, you are so bad! Just jokin glad you liked my idea. I wanna dedicate I'll Always Be Right There by Michelle Branch to Kylia and everyone else here. If you guys need me I will be here for you. By the way it was a song Michelle Branch wrote for her best friend.
"I'll Always Be Right There"
When you're all alone, and you need a light, someone to guide you through the night, just remember that I am here, to hold you close and dry your tears.
Oh-ooh
And just when you thought you were falling, but you know I'll always be right there.
When you're all alone, and you need a friend, someone to help you to the end, when you need someone to catch you when you fall, I'll be there through it all.
oh-oh
Cause just when you thought you were losing, but you know I'll always be right there.
And I'll be there through the good times, and the bad, and we'll be there for each other, cause you're the best friend I've ever had.
And just when you thought you were falling, but you know I'll always be right there. oh-oooh whenever you need me, I'll always be right there.

OK, for a start, my musictaste doesn't do very well for dedicating songs. But that won't stop me from trying! ;D We start with Kylia: Green Fingers Hibiscus head in a flower bed A finger hewn planted and sewn Oh, magic in her hands She could make anything grow Magic in her hands She had green fingers It's curious where animals don't go Mandrake, rooted deep into the soil Where the sun won't fall but it flourishes See the pretty maids all in a row Magic in her hands She could make anything grow Magic in her hands She had green fingers It's reaching and groping A clammy handshake clawing the ivy Crawling the tightrope along the lattice work With this hand i thee wed With this hand i thee bed With this hand i . . . (I don't take any kind of responsible for hidden meanings .) Sadlly enough that's how far I got for now . Oh, one more! AC/DC's "Have a Drink on Me" to Peter! (Whiskey, gin and Brandy! With a glass I'm pretty handy! ;D) Übereil

I’ll take a shot at this as well. I’ve decided to go by titles only – the lyrics itself might not fit the person. Please take this with the appropriate amount of humor ´ Elliot: This was a tough one. Our esteemed leader thinks VERY highly of himself so both The great pretender by Queen, Mr.Vain by Culture Beat and I’m too sexy by Right said Fred fits his bloated ego. In the end, though, I found two songs that describes his personality perfect – Creep by Radiohead and brain Damage by Pink Floyd ;D GrayLensman: Steve likes to work behind the scenes so it’s gotta be I’m the invisible man by Queen. Kylia: Probably the easiest on the whole list. I dare anyone to tell me that Fat bottomed girl by Queen isn’t the first and only song that fits!¨ Venom: So many options – Porn Star by DJ Alligator and sexed up by Robbie Williams both fit my beloved perv co-mod. But American idiot by Green Day is just that much better so that’s my choice ;D BJC: The young punk, a relentless warrior. What better choice than fight for your right by Green Day? I know BJC LOVES the Greenies!! Fille:Can anyone say Barbie girl (by Aqua). I’m sure you can Rockergrl: Karen’s a fun loving music girl so I was torn between Kenny Loggins' Footloose and Junior Senior's Move your feet so instead I chose Karaoke star by Robbie Willams Ubereil: Geek stink breath by Green day. I just love the easy ones TD:He’s Canadian and Canada has big forests. That’s where his future lies as the Monthy Python song I’m a lumberjack says. Lisa: I was going to say My chico latino by Gerri Halliwell but I kinda value my pitiful existence. So I’ll play safe and go with Six was nine – Drop dead beautiful. That will ensure I live to see another day Mobbie: Have to be a Mobbie Robbie Williams song and for some reason I find that Me and my monkey fits perfectly. Sps:Paperback writer by Beatles because SPS loves writing SS:Too easy – When I’m 64 by Beatles PeterH: Simply the best by Tina Turner – accept no substitutes

I dunno, Peter... I'd say Drunk Like Me by The Dogs D'Amour fits you very well... ;D
Terrordar has to be Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life by Monty Python ;D
Fille is a tough one, but I'd have to go with Complicated Girl by The Bangles. Not because it's funny, but because it's very apt... That or Dumb Girls by Lucy Woodward... ;D
Karen is absolutely Girls Just Wanna Have Fun by Cyndi Lauper. And I can't be mean to her - I must be slipping in my old age ;D
As for myself, well... This Is God by Phil Vasser, obviously ;D

Lol guys, this is soo funny ;D Ok, my turn, but remember, this is all in good fun. And also, not ll the lyrics fit for everyone, just the title fits for most people.
Elliot: "You're soo vain" Carly Simon Steve: "With A Little Help From My Friends" Lennon/Mc Cartney Pete: "Fat" Weird Al Yankovic (that lyric is wrote for Pete) Venom: "My Humps" Black Eyed Peas (change that into HIS humps ;D ) BJC: "Fighter" Christina Aquilera Fille: "About A Girl" Nirvana Rockergrl: "Sweet Girl" Fleetwood Mac Mea: "Mea Culpa" Enigma Soo far soo good, next will come up in a few days

Funny... ;D I'll come with a list, but it will take some research. Winlok, good to see you, even if it was brief; a little more and you would have been dedicated The Sound of Silence. ;D

if i knew enough about music, i would do some dedications too, but i doubt that you guys would want any kid songs dedicated to you. that is about all i listen to now days. the titles of the ones that have been dedicated are cute though. hey peter, don't i get a song dedicated from you? ;D and i haven't got one from venom or mea either. *pouts*

Well I suppose it's time I did this... here we go. Peter To Be With You by Mr. Big, because I love you baby. Shan Lean On Me by a lot of different people, because she's a great friend. TD Down With The Sickness by Disturbed... because they both hate everything. I want to do more, but my brain isn't working right now... I'll work on it in a day or two.

ok, perpetuating the trend that EK started, & no it's not this thread but self agrandisement. again, it's all about me, me, ME!! Freddie Mercury - I Was Born To Love You <u know this is true!> Vegetable - Radiohead <cos i'm not sweet enough to be a fruit> Blame It On The Rain - Milli Vanilli <cos i'm still a bit sick> Girl, You Know It's True - Milli Vanilli <just re-iterating the above> @ Shan -> that will be a new angle to things, so why not dedicate children songs to everyone? for starters, u can dedicate for V, I'm A Little Teapot (Short & Stout). ;D
