This is a thread for pictures or discussion of faces that nature has carved into rocks. Rock faces, another great wonder of nature, are amazing and very intriguing to look at. If you have made any pictures yourself of rock faces or know of any cool ones that can be found on the net, please post them.

Another "Sleeping Giant" is formed by the part of the Absaroka Range near Livingston, MT. Without late afternoon shadows it is hard to see the face.

Way cool, Shan! ;D That one from Fontainebleu looks like its from Planet of the Apes. : D And the Sphinx rock one, if you look at it from the other way, can look like a man whose cloak is trailing behind him. Killerzzz

Thanks Killerzzz. I've always found rocks very fascinating because of the shapes you can find in them and their odd formations at times. I like your observations of the two you mentioned. I had never seen that in them, but now that you mention it, I can see it easily. Do you see anything else in any of the others?
