We all have'em, we all love'em (well...), but what are they? OCDs are basically when you have an obsessive thought that you can't stop thinking of and intrudes into your normal thought process, which bring about a compulsion (an imulsive or uncontrollable action or reaction to "please/ get rid of" the obsession). And we don't need to be picky; even the smallest thing, like a ritual (got lucky socks you wear to Bingo? Do a jig when you wake up in the morning? ) counts. Stuff that will make your day feel incomplete if you don't do. Me, I'll start up with a few I mentionned at the Larian board because I don't want to re-type them! ;D I've gotten over those ones (a little; but not really ) so I'll post some new ones later. I don't know if that counts as an OCD, but I have a thing with my sheets, can't sleep on them if they are all wrinkled, the cover must be placed correctly and I sure hate wrinkles in my pillow

I'd be more concerned about the wrinkles of my bed mate than about those of the pillows or sheets... And Killerzz's obsession seems to be to freely share his medical file...

And Killerzz's obsession seems to be to freely share his medical file... I'm my best test subject on my studies of psychology! ;D Of course I'll want to share results with my collegues. (who else am I gonna share it with; its my unprofessional study all based on personal speculation ) Take this for an excellent psychological example of OCD; and I'm sure some people are gonna be rolling their eyes at this. (<--- sorta like that) I obsessive-cumpulsively pray before going to be each night (hear me out, you may have this too!) and if I don't say my nightly prayres, it takes me a really long time to fall asleep, not necessarily because I feel bad (I don't, sorry to say), but because my nightly rituals are incomplete. Now, I'm not saying I do it just out of habit (not exactly). IF the habit (or obsessive-cupultion) did NOT exist, then I would STILL do my prayres every night, because I want to. BUT I am aware of the fact that PSYCHOLOGICALLY my brain obsessive-cumpulsively brings about the prayre BEFORE my personal beliefs and desires can... GENERALLY. How do I even know if I would do it non-cumpulsively? Well, thats why I put in 'generally'. Because there come the nights where before even the OCD can kick in I'll think to myself, "Hmm, should I do my prayres tonight? Hmmm, hummm, uh, yeah I think I will." causing it to be a premeditated action!!! Get it? ;D OCD; thank'ou vurry much. Killerzzz P.S.: I love tinkering with brainworks.

...if I don't say my nightly prayers, it takes me a really long time to fall asleep,
If I were nasty, I would say that saying prayers fatigues me also - but since I'm not nasty, and I respect peoples' religious traditions, I never said that and would disclaim having had such thought.
So OK, I concede to having an obsession - not being able to keep a thought from popping out of my head in some form...

But what if someone posted? I could miss something!! NO! Get ahold of yourself, Elliot, you can just check later. I'll just see whats on TV. Ah, there we are, Friends. Thats a funny show. Hahaha, they made a funny! Heheh... I wonder who's online. I should go check! *is about half-way to the comp* No, wait, I told myself I wouldn't.... but I am already in my computer chair. *hurries over to the chair* See? ... ... There, I've checked, now I can go do something else. But, then again, I suppose I should check the chat first. Might be someone there. Nope, nobody. But I better check if someone came on while I was in chat! Nope; but since I'm already in General, I might as well post something... etc." Whaddaya know; I have an obsessive cumpulsion for hyperboles. Killerzzz
