There is a scene in the movie "7 years in Tibet" where the monks made a gorgious mandala to welcome the Chinese departement. When the Chinese came in the room they simply destroyed the beautiful mandala to show the Tibetan people how little respect they had for them.

Very nice... It seems to me that I was ever sent one like that, but different; will try to dig it out. And yeah, the sand mandalas are very impressive too. It's a bit the same philosophy than when we do sand castles on the beach, in a way... Works that are not meant to physically last.

Aha, no need to search far, silly girl... The one that I have is Love 2008, and it's on her website, among other clips. I think I prefered the one you posted, though; there was more to it and it was nice to have those angles of view on how she does.

Nice find Fille, her art reminds me a bit of Josephine Wall, but without the bright colors. I especially like the way she makes her doves, they look so real.
