I'm creating this thread with the intention of getting a list of the best sites available online for finding daily information about our favorite sports and teams. I don't mean just official sites either - I also mean unofficial fan-created sites (and perhaps forums) that might be great for getting even more insider information, along with team history and statistic and media databases if possible. Also, it helps if they're non-pay sites (unlike stupid Rivals.com! ) Don't bother with newspaper links because all you have to go to www.fancake.com and you'll quickly find the proper newspaper site to go to for your favorite team there. (Edit - well, on the other hand, that site just covers American sports. Go ahead if it's otherwise.) But for everything else, this is the place to let us know what's a good place to go to look for good weekly information for certain sports and teams.

pro-footballreference.com has just about anything you'd want to know about any team. Stat wise anyway. Good resource.

I agree, that's a great site. I use it often. NFL.com is okay as an information site, but ESPN.com is definitely better. I usually go for www.sportsline.com/nfl for my NFL news, though. I just like the way it's set up better.

Yeah, I rarely use any other sites when I want to read sports news. It's also more fun to read local reactions to games than it is to read "AP" stories.
