Just watched this today. It was very cool learning about Benny Friedman and Fritz Pollard, and Steve Young's highlight reel was pretty fun to experience again, though his father's speech was somewhat tedious, and Steve loves to talk a bit too much! Dan Marino and his son Daniel's speeches were by far the best performances of the entire ceremony though. I'll never forget that one. I know Josh loves Marino and that he asked for the day off to watch Marino's HoF induction, I bet you weren't disappointed buddy. And damn, does Daniel ever look like his dad. When I saw him come up on the stage, I thought somebody had cloned Dan! Had the same poise too. Pretty good show. It's funny though, both Steve and Dan were remarkable for their different abilities and just a day ago we were watching the "next generation" of quarterbacks inspired by these men play against each other in a preseason game (Vick and Peyton, of course). First there was Benny Friedman, then Marino and Young, though. The NFL's got a really cool, fun history - just reinforces my love for the sport. I know some people think the HoF is boring, but I think it's pretty integral in safeguarding the traditions of this uniquely American sport and reminding us all of all the great players and coaches that participated in it. And more than ever, I'm stoked for the start of the NFL season!!!

By the way, who knew the ceremony was taking place in Miami this year?
