No NBA games on in my area tonight, but I'm just setting up the thread anyway.

I watched my Bulls last night, but we were so awful I don't want to talk about it. Perhaps I'll post a more positive report after tonight's game.

The Spurs are depressing me. And their RSS feed is not kept updated fast enough.

We played like [Censored]again, I can't believe we're 2-4 on this road trip, it's ridiculous. I'm not going to go into detail into the game, there is no reason too.
But, this road trip has made our biggest (and maybe our only) weakness as obvious as a monsoon. We have to make a trade for a guy who can get into the paint and score. KG and Gosol I think I spelled that right, can both be had. Now I agree some players we shouldn't touch. Hinrich, Gordon, and Deng are our nucleus, can't trade them. But Duhon, Brown, Sweetney, Noiconi, and others could all be had. Want some draft picks? We could trade away the whole draft this year if need be. The last thing this team really needs right now is younger players. Skipping a year wouldn't hurt.
Bottom line is, we'll either make a trade and be a serious contender for the title, or we won't and probably not get out of the East.
One thing I do want to say is last night the announcers kept talking about how could we compete with Miami or whatever. Uhhh, we're 3-0 against Miami. That's with Shaq and w/o (who isn't very good now anyway.) We whooped em by 42 in Miami. So maybe the question should be, how can they compete with us? Miami is not back just because they beat up some weaker teams with Shaq back. Cleveland beat them last night.
As for your Spurs, that's definitely a tough loss to take. An inbounds lob dunk with 0.2 left? Ouch. And even worse, Howard faked out Duncan of all people to do it!

Spurs vs. Pistons--finally they play like the championship team they are.
