Anybody here a Toronto Raptors fan? I sure am! After their 2-8 start, they went into cleveland and everyone had them losing, and they won instead. since then they have been one of the hottest teams in the league, next to Dallas and Phoenix. I wasj ust wondering if all the hype is only here in Toronto, or if people around the USA notice them even. Because I don't get to see the USA basketball shows or stuff like that so do other people really think anything of the Raps?

On studio shows on ESPN, the Raptors are talked about as a dangerous team come playoff time. Chris Bosh is talked about quite a bit, but he's so damn good you can't help but talk about him! However usually it's Dallas and Phoenix that is talked about the most, San Antonio and Detriot are the next tier, and then I'd say teams like Chicago and Utah, after that I don't think many people consider other teams a serious threat to do anything.
That said with D-Wade's injury, the East is wide open and I think Detriot, Chicago, Toronto, or Cleveland could make it out of the East.

yah I'm pretty sure Detroit is coming out of the East. With Webber all of a sudden re-discovering his talent, they seem to be the best team. I like Chicago too, but if Miami can squeek into the playoffs and get Wade back, they might beat Detroit again. Being a Raptors fan I hope they win obviously, but realistically, I'd be happy if they made it to the 2nd round. So I hope Phoenix wins the championship because I love Nash

The Spurs do seem to be regaining their stride. I haven't seen Toronto play, and don't know much about them.

Last night was a good night for me as well! While we're idle... I think every team ahead of us in the East lost! We're 1.5 games out of being 2nd in the East, woohoo!

I watched the last qurter of tonight's game. I particularly like the way the Spurs are absolutely massacring teams they lost to during the Spurs slump. I also like the way the reserves are playing--maintaining the lead and making some nice shots with great defense.

my Raps dropped two straight for the first time since november. hopefully they can pick it up again tomorrow against the Wizards. If Bargnani comes back from Italy, they should pull it out
