From an AP article, "Giants, Dolphins in town, but London not sold on NFL," some Brits were interviewed on what they thought of NFL football and its potential for catching on in Europe. One chap, Ronald Brown, an 83-year-old retiree from the printing business, commented: "I watch it now and again, but it doesn't appeal to me. Some of the tackling they do is so bloody cruel." Hey, EK, I guess you guys all really do prefer a kinder, gentler sport, eh?

Yeah, we're not big on cruelty to animals, Phil! Getting a team of Giants in to beat up on some poor Dolphins? That's just evil! ;D Won't go down well at all in Britain! ;D

That field today was an absolute joke. If a NFL team allowed their field to be that [Censored] on game day, they'd get fined A LOT of money. That sure didn't look like NFL football to me.
