If you haven't read any of the series yet, you're missing out!
To put it simply, Naruto is a manga (Japanese comic) involving a world of mystical ninjas, and it's specifically about a boy who's been an outcast since he was born because of a legendary monster, the nine-tailed demon fox, that was captured and trapped within him by the Fourth Hokage (the village champion) as a last resort to save his people from destruction.
Whereas the village is now safe from the fox, and also the kid isn't really the fox to start with but just its host (container), the village people still sees Naruto as the demon fox that gave them so much trouble, so he's had to live pretty much on his own all his life, and always clowned around in order to just to get people's attention.
But to get some respect finally, he's decided to achieve his dream - that of becoming the next Hokage, the village champion!
What's his name, you ask? It's Uzumaki Naruto!
And this manga covers his very interesting, sometimes hilarious, and often very dramatic adventures!
