BEND, Ore. — Using his trusty BB gun to help him return to Earth, a 48-year-old gas station owner flew a lawn chair rigged with helium-filled balloons more than 200 miles across the Oregon desert Saturday, landing in a field in Idaho. full story here

Reminds me of the Myth Busters episode about such a story... It looks neat, but 9 hours up there in the chair must be really long and uncomfortable. ;D He could have behaved a little more environmentally-friendly, however...

He could have behaved a little more environmentally-friendly, however... What happened with all the balloons he took out on his way to Idaho? I think I prefer my bicycle to get somewhere...
