Someone who is naturally thin can't get fat without a huge effort to become so. I used to live on burgers and chocolate in my younger days, amongst other fatty foods. I never put on an ounce. It was like my body had decided on a weight for me and that was that.
I think most people are naturally 'medium' and capable of going either way by diet.

^ you said it, when you was YOUNGER. Even naturally skinny people are likely to gain with age. At least it is more possible, not meaning it suddenly jumps into the fat category. But age does make even naturally programmed to be thin people heavier. (or more likely to become).
Agree with the last sentence.

Ack... fat!! LOL... I'm mildly overweight but it's a huge task trying to trim off those kilos. I weigh about 65 kg/143.3 lbs and am about 1.58m/5.184ft tall. Ugh... I wish my body was built differently: my shoulders are fairly large but my leg bones are like totally thin, so all the fat goes there. And I eat really little... a small serving of brown rice(unshelled rice) and a lot of veggies, some fish, less meat. And I'm still off... >>;; <<;; I do eat some chocolate once in a while but it's not as much fat as from a fast food snack.

I eat much more healthily now (Well... OK, somewhat healthier ;D) but age definitely does add a bit of weight, annoyingly. I'm still not fat, but I'm not quite so lean any more ;D

I'm happy through scan to your diet, I'm kinda an unwanted expert ;D PS: we have the same hight

Kit - more you practice, better you'll be. A large number of Chaos members don't speak English as a first language, but you'd never know it...

Caffeine is not a bad substance; everything is in the dose and compatibility. Caffeine can bring good relief in case of asthma crisis and headaches, and its stimulant effects can be a good ones at moderate doses.
Of course health warnings and exact doses should be written appropriately on the packages; the less accessible the info, the less people will be informed and be able to actually make responsible and informed choices. You say that adverse effects and misuse lies in people consuming this "crap" and not behaving responsibly to get informed about what it is, but consider also on the other side how this "crap" is advertized: "it gives you wings, revitalizing your body and mind". I don't excuse irresponsibility on the consumer's part, but it is certainly not the cause of the issues alone and minimizing the system's fault because we're used to be served traps from their part isn't much better.
On weight - lifestyle as a whole seems to have a lot more to do with overweight than diet by itself (an extreme example, look at some athlethes' diets; they're hallucinating-ly heavy for the shape they have... and once they leave professional competition and all the life structure that goes with it, you realize that these people were not necessarily of the very "naturally thin" type). And since metabolism has a lot to do with the tendency to gain weight and that this is a very genetic factor, you will see a lot of differences from country to country linked to this in addition to the traditional lifestyle/diet. In some places, metabolizing food fast was the fittest way while on others metabolizing it slowly was (without counting antecedents of aesthetic standards and preferences leaning one way or the other), which would have privileged a phenotype or the other depending on the life conditions and spread the tendency in that area.
From my experience here, though I can't back that by numbers, the number of people who tend to be naturally fat vs naturally thin would be pretty even at teenage, perhaps even be leaning more towards those easily gaining weight.

Hehe I practise since I'm 11 And no worries, having an australian as a BF and a pom, sorry british fellow as a best friend (who both can't speak german) is quite a good practise ^^ The thing about english (and any language) is usually not learning the language as in vocabulary and grammar but learning slang & common speech, when I speak, people always wonder where I'm coming from, cause I sing in an american accent, speak in a british way and use aussie slang
