I guess you could call this a new idea of mine - an occasional look at some of the best comedians produced by Britain over the years. We have had some GREAT comedians, after all. But not all of you may have heard of all of them. Hence this idea 
Mel Smith & Griff Rhys Jones were one of those comedy partnerships where two incredibly smart and talented people made some very sharp (and often rude) observations about the world whilst sending themselves and everyone else up unmercifully.
They are NOT for the faint of heart, be warned! They probably shouldn't be viewed by anyone under 15, either.
As an introduction to Smith & Jones, one cannot really do better than the Christmas special they did one year, which purports to be a home movie...
