So here's me, latest issue of Empire in hand, thinking soe of this stuff actually looks rather good, for a change. As I hadn't heard anything about a lot of this, I figure some of you guys & gals may not have either. So, here's a few things that have peaked my interest. Most are due in 2010 - in theory, at least...
Clash Of The Titans - sort of a remake, but more brutal and bloody, apparently. Stars Sam Worthington (Whoever he is, he looks very tough in the pic) with Liam Neeson as Zeus and Ralph Fiennes as Hades.
Toy Story 3 - yes, really. It's actually on the horizon. Andy is just graduating, apparently. is this IT for the toys?
Jonah Hex - Western with zombies, based on a DC comic most people have never heard of, let alone read. IE the ones that usually make the best films.
Conan - still to be cast, so who knows? But a new stab at Conan is long overdue.
Alice In Wonderland - would be boring, but Tim Burton directs. That means freaky to the max. Should be interesting.
Prince of Persia: The Sands Of Time - yeah, video game = crap film, but maybe this one will make the difference. Jake Gyllenhall stars with Sir Ben Kingsley also in it, so the acting chops are there.
Predators - the official Predator 3. Will it be as good as the first two, or unwatchable dross? Who knows, right now...
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader - the franchise was dropped by Disney and picked up by Fox, which pretty much showed who had read the novels and who hadn't, as Dawn Treader is by FAR the best novel in the entire series. Highly anticipated by me for this reason...
