Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter? Sold. This is a tricky book to pull off just because it needs a proper balance between innocent charm and utter insanity. Burton, though, can definitely do the utter lunacy, but the rest we'll see on. Looks cool so far, though.

i wonder if it can top the game's weirdness, American McGee's Alice in Wonderland. guess we'll have to wait for the movie to come out to know.

Hmmm... "Alice In Wonderland" is a deceptive title, as this is more like a sequel to Disney's first Alice In Wonderland movie (and I say that because this one, like Disney's first one, seems to incorporate aspects of both of Carroll's Alice books). Not that it won't be awesome, but I kinda feel like it should have a different title. Killerzzz

He wrote Alice's Adventures Under Ground and Through the Looking-Glass And What Alice Found There. Although, I just looked that up and apparently Alice's Adventures Under Ground was originally published under the title Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Either way, a bit of trivia.

I think it was a good decision to make it a return to Wonderland rather than the original stories.

Yeah, I agree. Gives them more room to play, as it were.

I'm really excited for this. In my opinion, the trailer in 3D was the best part of Avatar.
