Beh! Well, anyhow, once again I say I think this will be awesome. Probably one of my 2 or 3 most looked-forward-to-seeing movies right now. ;D Killerzzz

It's pretty close to the top of my list, too.

I watched it! And it was pretty awesome, living up to my expectations for it. The characters were a bit different than I was expecting, but not in a bad way. Still good. John C. Reilly did not do anything wrong! ;D (i'm not prejudiced against the actor, I'm just... wary of him ) Yeah, so I'll leave the rest for when you watch it and see for yourself. It was definitely worth going to see in theatres imo. Killerzzz

More like Shane Acker's 9 -- since Shane directed and wrote it.

More like Shane Acker's 9 -- since Shane directed and wrote it. Maybe, but it's Burton's name that'll get people to read the thread ;D

Point taken, Kane -- since he's probably the one w/ the "producer" credit, for tossing money around to get this product into the public.
9 does looks cool, but yeah -- I'mma wait for the DVD on this one.

There isn't so much as a release date in Australia for any time this year.

Me too, more than likely. But it DOES look really cool! It WAS really cool! D: Yeah, I found that hilarious how tricky they are with the names. First I thought it was directed by Tim Burton. Then I figure out he's just one of the producers. THEN I thought it was Timur Bekmambetov directing, becuase in the commercial it said "From producer Tim Burton... And Timur Bekmambetov director of Wanted." So I figure, yeah, 'director'. Nope, just another producer. Then I saw the end credits of the movie and it said "Directed by Shane Acker." And I said "Who? What? Huh? What about the Russian guy?" So yeah, confusing situation. Killerzzz

This was pretty good. The plot had a lot of holes but the characters were pretty cool. In a time where the post-apocalyptic thing has been run into the ground they gave it a new spin by making the characters little dolls with amnesia.

As a huge Tim Burton fan, I'm gonna look out for that one!! Too bad Johny Depp or Helena Bonham Carter aren't in the movie, but nonetheless, it's looking fab!
