I may have complained about this series before but the season premiere starts things out better than last season. I am not afraid to say that I liked this episode. The parts with Echo were still sorta weak until the end when we got to see Ballard become Echo's handler just like he did in the unaired episode.
What really amazed me was the Amy Acker and Denis Franz parts. Acker is written out of the series but she shows more range than ever in this episode. Hopefully she returns. But here we see Topher deal with why he imprinted Whiskey (Acker) with a Doctor's personality.
I am a bit disappointed by the lack of Harry Fenix in the episode but I hope he pops up more next week. Also I hate Olivia William's new hairstyle. It doesn't scream sexy like the long hair did (okay a nit pick).
I hope Alpha appears again soon but with Tudyk doing V (with Morena Baccarin) I doubt it. He would help Alexis Densiof's character a lot.
Good episode. Enough to get me watching more.

Don't worry, your little nitpick was something that bothered the crap out of me, too. She looks so amazing with longer, lighter hair!
I'm enjoying this season much more as well. The actor who plays Viktor is amazing and I can't wait for Summer Glau to show up.
I still just can't accept Eliza unless she is playing a kick ass role. Is she slowly getting worse at acting and gaunter? I really hope everything comes together before it gets canceled, it has interesting potential.
Totally approving of all the BSG actors.

The last few episodes have gotten really good because it seems Joss Whedon is going to his tropes about power and who wields it. He is going the route of a take on the Matrix.

on second thought the current arc is a direct ripoff of the last few episodes of Angel season 5 except not as good as its Dollhouse

Dollhouse is over here are some final thoughts on the series:
Last 6 episodes are pretty good, except for being a direct ripoff of Angel. Though this time we get to see how it ends. It was nice seeing Ballard finally bite it. Also what happened to Alpha was cool. I kinda liked him. It definetly wasn't as good as Epitaph One though, which I still say is perhaps the best of the series. Finally its nice to see that Whedon has made a pretty complete series, unlike Angel where it left with the apocalypse.
That said the complete series sucks. I mean really it sucks. Maybe only a third of the series is watchable, but most of it is just kind of bland and forgettable. It doesn't help that Eliza Dukshu doesn't have the range necessary for the role of Echo and I know some will disagree with me.
Though for some unfortunate reason I find a few people who really enjoyed this series. I have no doubt that it will earn a cult following over the next few years, which is one I won't be part of. I mainly just watched it because of Joss Whedon and it has Harry Lennix in it who is an amazing actor. Though I am interested in seeing more of Enver Gjokaj and Dichen Lachman. They suprised me, and were believable as Dolls.
Overall I would give this series: 5/10
Oh yeah and on a side note the total episodes produced were 27 episodes, which is less than two much better cancelled series of the past few years Jericho (29) and Terminator: the Sarah Connor Chronicles (31).
