Hey Doc, the day isn't over yet... Wait, is it over? ???By Indonesian time, this question and Hildor's question were posted on the same day, only 9 hours apart. It is lol... I posted it without realising. I was woken up by sounds of banging on the door, so I wasn't with it... BH posted one 5 min after me so I think we were all out of sorts... Sorry about that guys... Thought of the day is Thought of the day Not of the minute.

Why is it that when we are told there are billions and billions of stars in the sky, we believe it without hesitation..... but when someone tells you that paint is wet, you have to touch it to make sure? Simple, it's a matter of verifiability, you can't verify that there are that many stars in the sky, and looking up suggests they might be right. However you can verify that paint is wet, and you know you can.

THOUGHT OF THE DAY: Do The Doctors ever sing this song while performing surgery?

@ BH: To put it in the words of Captain Haddock (translated into English directly from the original French): THOUSANDS UPON BILLIONS UPON THOUSANDS OF SABERS! @ The Doctor: Cool! Do you sing only when you're doing something simple, or do you also sing while performing advanced surgery? ;D

twoheadedragon We sing all the time. I find that it makes for a better working environment. My whole life is a musical and it keeps me sane. Also stops me feeling down. It makes everyone happy and that makes me happy.

It makes everyone happy and that makes me happy. That's wonderful, good for you. THOUGHT OF THE DAY: Why are people afraid of Friday 13th? "Ignorance and Superstition" - Aristotle, about Greece when he left (and ended up tutoring Alexander the Great in Macedonia)
