My parents just found out they lost the job they had for 26yrs. See the place is going to be moving to another building and they had to take bids. My parents even lowered the bid and have been doing a great job working there, never even missed a day of work. It's tough cause they do have another building they work at, but this building they lost was one where they made more money at. Plus I talked to my Aunt and asked how my Uncle who has cancer is doing. She said he has an infection and isn't doing good at all! They had to stop his chemo cause of the infection and he had a scan and the cancer is getting worse! They said he could possibly only have 2 weeks to live! So yesterday was a big cry fest for me! I'm trying my best to keep my head up but all that news yesterday had me down! Tryin to take my mind off of it for a bit now and listen to music, talk to my good friends, watch some funny videos.

karen, i'm sorry your uncle is so ill. i know it has to be a very rough time for you and your family. the thought that you may lose someone you love is never easy and can be hard to bear. take care, and remember that God is there to help you through.
i'm also sorry to hear about your parents losing their job. i can understand how hard it would hit them. i hope they are able to find something else soon.
chris, the girls and i will keep you and your family in our prayers, especially your uncle.

Oh Karen, I'm soo sorry to hear that aweful news!! I hope your parents find a new job very soon and I will burn a candle for your uncle as well. Hang in there girl, things will go better soon *hug*

Echo to the others' wishes; I hope that your parents' situation will get brighter and that things will be as soft as possible for your uncle and family, whatever the turn the illness takes. Also that you'll be ok.

^ Thanks Shan well my Uncle is not soo good! The cancer is now in his brain. So he probably won't be around very long. I'm still trying my best to keep my head up. I love my Uncle a lot and wish there was a miracle but I also don't want him to suffer either. It's just really sad though. My parents are doing good, and got some good recommendations from the one place they clean.
