Well, its done. The first episode of the web series i have been working on. Its called The Polcheck Chronicles What is the Polcheck Chronicles? well, hans Polcheck is a Dutch by way of the US, by way of Australian detecitve. a PI. Former head of CSI Mona Vale, he can take almost no evidence and recreate scenesin his mind. behind the scenes, its the brainchild of myself and Pat Feary, who plays Hans. each epuisode is plotted by us, and then improved by the cast in 1 weekend. Each story is a 2 parter, and each story is 1 weekend of filming. Then i edit and do the sound tweaks. My good buddy Darryl Watkins writes and performs all the musician the show, and helps me with the sound. Paul Hapsellis and Dave Milne hooked me up with the website stuff, and i thank them also. Now the camera is sometimes shakey, the soud is sometimes too soft, and its all lit with desklamps and roomlights. often by the time u see something done at night, its after midnight, often closer to 1 or 2. and most everyone involved is an amateur. I hope u will indulge the small faukltsd and enjoy this for what it is: Some friends making others laugh. enjoy: The Polcheck Chronicles

Hey, Craig. I haven't really been looking at the movie. I've been a bit ill these last few daysand didn't have the energy to to view the movie but will look when I'm feeling better. But I've been to the website and must say I'm very impressed!! You're doing what I want to be doing myself making movie and tv (or in this case web tv)!! As an inspiring movie maker myself I have a few questions I hope you can answer. What kind of cameras did you use? What editing program do you use? I've used only Pinnacle and Premiere Pro till now, but will learn AVID later on in my education. And how long does it take to do the show from plotting final editing? Anyway, respect from here. And I'm looking forward to seeing the video. Will return then

thanx Pete I was starting to think none of u guys liked me! to answer: the first 2 were shot ona canon 530i DV camera. they were shot together. I got a new camera though, so the rest will be shot on a Canon Xm2. I edit using Vegas Video 5, though i do some workin Vegas 4 (which has features 5 doesnt). As for the show: We generally do our first chat a month before. Thats just me n Pat. Then we have a day where the whole cast is there, and we run through what we'll be shooting and when. Then a weekend to shoot. after that, It takes awhile. i usually need a few days of free time to edit, then a day or so per person to do the ADR. Darryl writes the music over a couple of weeks, and then he and i do sound. we shot this (I think) around febuary. Part 2 was shot at the same time, and thenext arc will be filmed in June.

I'd check it out Craig, but I don't think my computer can handle it, unfortunately.

That would be my reason as well. I don't have the hours it would take for my crappy connection to download your film. If you don't believe, it took over an hour to download the Batman Begins trailer.
