Song Challenge TwoIdea is the same as the first one: each line of this faux-philosophy (Though it resembles nothing worthy of that name) will contain multiple song titles. Spot the titles, then name the groups or singers who performed them. Any correct answer counts, not just the ones I know. As with last time, there's probably a song title or two of which I am unaware as well... The Neverending StoryIf you dare to follow the golden rule, you'll be anything but ordinary. Consider this: No one wins the rat race, so there is time enough for tears when we die. You want to make a memory? Picture this: one original thing written in stone: All that you'll be, you'll find yourself in you. In another life every little thing may be shot to pieces, but here and now rock and roll dreams come through. These are the times of childhood's end, so fly across the universe of time! Fight against the hours and find yourself in you. The future never dies. *** Cross posted to the SSF

I'm guessing you all suck at this, right? ;D

The Neverending Story was the lead theme for the film The Neverending Story (shocking, I know), but I don't know who acually sung it, and I'm to lazy to find out... ;D
Childhoods End is an Iron Maiden song. Well, those were the ones I knew.
(Wasn't Anything a Genesis song btw?)

I know one group who did a song called 'Anything'. Not sure if Genesis did. Iron Maiden is right

I'll take a guess. Half the songs are by Skye Sweetnam, Lillix, Avril Lavigne, or one of the many other teen pop singers Elliot likes ;D
The other half are metal ;D

I'd love to say you were far wrong, SPS, but... you're not! ;D I create these so a wide variety of different people can can get at least a few. No fun if the people it's created for can't find the solutions

None at all, SPS? I'm quite surprised, I must admit. You're knowledge of music is usually pretty impressive. Just an unlucky one for you, I guess

Since it's been a while and nobody's gotten much, I'll answer a few of these... Ube is right on Neverending Story... the artist was Kajagoogoo. "Anything But Ordinary" is an Avril song. Not one of her better ones, IMO. ;D "Shot To Pieces" is the obligatory Skye reference. "Rock & Roll Dreams" is a Meat Loaf song, I believe. And I'll throw in "Time" by Pink Floyd cause I can. ;D

Ok El, no offence, but half of those singers I haven't heard of let along heard any of their songs, so no wonder I couldn't participay in the game.

They're a mix of the well known and the rather obscure, Gal, which (Hopefully) makes it interesting for everyone. I don't think you'll find many people who have NOT heard of some of those groups & singers This one may not have been good for you, but hopefully any future versions I do will contain groups & singers you know

...I was hopeing it was from an album I DIDN'T own. But I guess TRE counts since I never listen to it. Well, I never listen to any of the other albums either nowadays, but I'm still way more focused on the earlier period (everything up to Back in Black). Übereil

Straight off the top of my head I'd never get most of them myself, Ube. But then the fun lies in getting what you can, not worrying about getting what you can't
