I know there's mostly minor changes all throughout the books, so it'd be hard for anyone to give me a rundown on all the changes. I know I'll need to get the 3.5 books, but until I can find them cheap, I'll have to work with what I got and ask questions about specific things.
For starters, I know Survival replaced Wilderness Lore and Intuit Direction. And I think I heard that Innuendo became part of Bluff. And Ride is now for all basic animals rather than a specific animal, except for exoctic animals. Were there any other significant skill changes that you noticed?
And as for feats, I know ambidexterity combined with two weapon fighting, what is the name and description of this new feat. Is it the same bonus you get from having ambidexterity and two wepaon fighting?
My players use power attack, cleave and great cleave alot. Did any of those change?
I think those are all of my questions right now...

Your info on the skills is correct
ok the new feat is called 'two-weapon fighting' and reads as follows
Prerequisite: Dex 15 Benefit: your penalties on attack rolls for fighting with two weapons are reduced. The penalty for your primary hand lessens by 2 and the one for your off hand lessens by 6.
Circumstances Primary Hand Off Hand Normal penalties -6 -10 off hand weapon is light -4 -8 two-weapon feat -4 -4 off hand weapon is light and two weapon feat -2 -2
These penalties also apply two double weapons and thrown weapons when using both hands
Power Attack: read the same a 3rd ed except with the following addition...If you use a two-handed weapon or a one-handed weapon in two hands (not be confused with a light weapon) the you ad 1.5*the penalty taken to your attack roll to your damage (rounded down). eg. if you power attack for a -4 penalty you do 6 points of additional damage (4 * 1.5 = 6).
Cleave: Has not changed
Great cleave: Has not changed
hope this helps Silva, I've dug my old 3rd ed books out now for you so any other things you need to know just ask.

Both of my players are fighter, so I'm curious about any new fighter or combat-oriented feats.
Thank you so much!

With the addition of all the class books what you ask for is quite a list, give me a couple of days and i'll get you the infomation. It is no longer just a list of feats, there are now various subsections each with it own rules. so i'll have to give you those as well.

Wow, I didn't know it had gotten so complex. Thank you so much for whatever info you give me.
I do have all those small class books and they have been a great addition, especially the monk feats.

I do have all those small class books and they have been a great addition, especially the monk feats. I'm assuming you mean the five class books that came out for 3rd ed. Those are still of use however there are now a load more and well as other source material including books based on specific terrain, races. However leave it with me and I'll get you what I can.

Ah, yes. I just have the 5 original books for 3rd. I knew that a lot had come out since those, but haven't had the money to buy any so I haven't looked at them to see what's available.
If you have any recommendations of books aimed at fighters, please let me know. Especially ones that are under $20.
On another note, do you use any of the d20 books from other companies? Are any of them good? I've seen that they're often cheaper than the official D&D stuff.

As for under $20 dollors you'd have to check, as we dealing £'s over here , however best book purely for fighters is "The Complete Warrior", another good book for them is "The Complete Adventuer" (Which is the rogues book).

oh, forgot about the money difference. But thanks for the titles. I'll check them out. Hopefully a store will have them in stock so I can see what's in it. Determine whether it's worth buying.

They retail $25 I believe. Maybe $23.
the biggest difference between 3 and 3.5 for fighter classes? The Ranger doesn't suck anymore. It can ACTUALLY use a bow. As well as a fighter!

Amazon seems to be having a sale on the books. Hope it lasts long enough for us to get them.
