Cedric defers the offer to have a bola made for him. He invites Scim and Ash for a 'bashing' lesson, in which Scim uses two clubs, making both simultaneous and consecutive attacks with them and Ash learns that blocking clubs with a bare arm or leg is painful, and that it takes all of her agility to avoid the whirling two clubs attacking her. Scim learns that while whirling attacks keep the opponent on the defensive, losing the momentum of the attack because of missing an agile opponent opens her up enough to be hit hard - and that one precise (or lucky) hit is then all it takes to put her out of combat. Both are exhausted at the end of the session, and hate Cedric's guts, because in the course of their sparring his constant yells, tips, pointing with his own club broke their focus and concentration giving their opponent a chance to score a hit - driving them to a point where they both ignored him completely (which is what he wanted to achieve)

Rasidar turns to Stelrein and nods impassively.
"Once everyone has agreed," Rasidar says. "Prepare yourselves as best you can, and we shall proceed."
When the rest of the party agrees, he will slowly open the door...

"My pleasure," answers Cedric, "and you gave the bashing lady quite a run."
"I'm ready to proceed," he acknowledges Rasidar's question.

Mao notices Sterlein's weird expression at what her and Ash discussed.
"Don't be afraid of words and ideas, soldier, she says to him, amused. Especially when it's so hypothetic," she adds with a wink to Loriana, seeing Stel's face frowning.
Once she finished dressing the feet of anyone interested, she arranges all her equipment of fortune so that it will be easy to reach and will not hinder her movements or make her too noticable. She then joins Homm towards the door, taking care not to stand in a way that could feel too invading to him (and hasardous for her), yet trying to adopt a self-control attitude that could help to make him more confident, and says to Rasidar, Stelrein and the others: "Your time is mine."

Once Sim has finished everthing else she returns to her bed and fashions a crude cloak out of the remains of her blanket.
To Rasidar: "I'm ready whenever you are" she says wrapping herself in the cloak.

Ash grins at Scim and says "Who says. Just wait til next time."
When Scim gives her the bola, Ash smiles and says "Hey, this is great. Thank you. I never would have been able to make one this good."
Knowing the others are about ready for Rasidar to open the door, Ash checks to make sure she has everything she is suppose to have. She collects all of her items and postions them to where she feels like they will hinder her movement the least.
As she does, she looks around the room at the other people still asleep under the glowy stuff. What will happen to these people when we open the door," she wonders. "Has anyone ever esca[ed from here before? Will we be able to come back in here if we need to?"
"E - are there any answers to these questions? (do we know if others have escapedor tried to escape before us? not that we will probably want to, but would we be allowed to come back in this room once we leave it? when we open the door, will the magic be broken and all the people left in the room die? about how much time has passed since we woke?"

AshWith all the armour building & general experimenting, it's been abiyt six hours. In that time, a few more people have awoken, but there seems to be no set pattern to it. You have no idea if anyone has escaped before you, nor whether you will have a chance to return - nor what will happen to those still in the amber fields. They might all die - or nothing might happen to them at all. You just don't know...

After gathering her stuff and doing one last check to make sure she hadn't missed anything, Ash begins to walk back towards the door. As she passes one of the people with the glowy stuff still in place, she stops and runs her hand over the force field one more time.
"We have to go," she says softly. "I have no idea who you are, whether you will be OK once we open the door, but we have got to try to get out of here. Maybe if we can find out what is going on, we will be able to help you too." she says sliding her hand over the force again.
After a moment of silence, Ash says with a slight smile "Bye, you take care. Things are going to be OK."
Then with one last glance around the room at the other sleeping people, she turn and walks over to the group by the door, looks at Rasidar, smiles and says "Let's do it, Mr. Knight."

Rasidar offers Ash a slight smile of reassurance. She was right about one thing. He felt a moral duty to help the others still asleep, if he could.
On the other hand, it was for the best they weren't all awake in another way. At least the others were asleep, and probably wouldn't need food or water while they slumbered. Not that they could get rations to the slumbering people through the amber fields. As it was, the group needed to adequately provision a group of nine.
"We shall do our best to aid them," Rasidar says. "For now, everyone stand ready to face what lies beyond. Once we are in the next room, `twould be wise to check for traps upon entry."
Keeping his club at the ready, Rasidar slowly opens the door with his free hand and leads the way onward...
