"I'll head off to the Danger Room," she says with a smile. "I've got some pent-up aggression to work off. Besides, I'm no use in the lab. Anyone else coming?"

Kitty scratches Lockheed under the chin, "Ready for a work-out buddy?"
Lockheed lays down and closes his eyes.
Kitty grins, "You can rest later, when everything's back to normal. For now, we need to train."
Lockheed sticks his tongue out at Kitty. She laughs and picks him up. She walks to Betsy and nods, "We're coming." Lockheed lets out a low grumble.

"I don't have time to play games when there's heads to smash," Juggernaut turns to Forge, "Do you think regular communications is okay? 'Cause my friend Tom might know something. And I'd do anything to get Sammy back."

Juggernaut makes his call and returns with no new info as Black Tom cannot be reached at all.

Gambit enters the Danger Room with Kitty, Psylocke, Lockheed, and Juggernaut, and goes over to the nearby console:
"Mon amis I know we're beat but how about we practice with a good old sentinel battle non? Load program unit Sentinels," said Gambit into the Danger Room computer.
about 20 old sentinels appeared in the room, and they immediately went after the X-Man in groups of 4 at each X-Man.

Psylocke:
Betsy smiled as the Sentinels approached. Now this was more like it.
She felt her blood racing as she launched herself toward the Sentinels. She could have just hit them from a distance, but it was far too much fun to get in close. Betsy felt the familiar siren song of adrenaline as she moved into action.
As she scrambled forward, Betsy focused her psionic energy into a telekinetic katana. She then prepared to meet her group...
Actions:
1. Betsy will decapitate the first Sentinel she meets with her TK katana. 2. Betsy will smash the nearest Sentinel after that with a telekinetic blast. 3. Betsy will raise a TK shield around herself.

Grinning with glee and pounding one fist into the palm of the other, Juggernaut chuckles and says, "Time to play!"
Actions: 1. Grabs the nearest Sentinel and picks him up like a bat. 2. Spins around, knocking out the legs of the other 3 Sentinels. 3. Releases the Sentinel bat at the two Sentinels that Psylocke did not attack.
~~~ Kitty whispers into Lockheed's ear, "Time to have some fun." Lockheed growls and lets out a small burst of flame before flying up from Kitty's arms.
Actions: 1. Lockheed breaths fire into the face of a Sentinel to get its attention. 2. Kitty uses her martial arts skills to jump up at that Sentinel's chest. 3. Kitty phases through the chest of the Sentinel, hoping to shortwire its systems.

As the others went off to the Danger Room, Hank decided the best thing to do was get to work. "I suggest we try to repair what we can of Cerebro then." he said "I hope some of my more advanced tools are still in my lab."
If the three of them worked together they could probably get this job done fairly quickly.

Forge:
"Sure Beast. Now let's head to Cerebro,"
When the three entered the Cerebro chamber they noticed metal panels strewn about, and a schematics screen on the floor, there were also a few random wires that were hanging there powerless, and various odd things were also around there. The three set to work.
Danger Room:
The team quickly completed the scenario, and the Danger Room loaded up another 20 sentinels.

Juggernaut grabbed Kitty, "You better turn ghosty, girl!"
Actions: 1. Juggernaut throws Kitty in a straight line, through as many Sentinels as possible. 2. Starts running to a different batch of Sentinels, reaching out with both arms, to bulldoze as many Sentinels as possible. 3. He lifts whatever Sentinels he caught in hiss bullrush and tosses them across the Danger Room

Kitty is taken by surprise when Juggernaut grabs and throws her. She is too surprised to scream, but will remember to yell at him later.
Lockheed hisses fire at Juggernaut, but Juggernaut runs off before the flame reaches him.
Actions: 1. Kitty phases through the Sentinels she's thrown at. 2. She lands lightly on the ground and Lockheed flies over to her. 3. They perform their combo move like before to defeat a few more Sentinels.

Mimic sizes up the situation quickly and moves into action.
The group is starting to show signs of teamwork. This is good. He immediately realizes that Kitty is one of their most effective combatants against Sentinels. On the other hand, so is he...
"Send some my way," he tells Psylocke. "Take out as many as possible."

Psylocke:
Betsy doesn't miss a beat when she notices Mimic in the room. She nods assent to his plan, flashing him a daring smile...
Actions:
1. Betsy will telekinetically throw a Sentinel into a column of other Sentinels at high speed. 2. Betsy will grab another bunch of Sentinels and throw them towards Mimic. 3. Betsy will raise a TK shield.

Mimic:
Cal wastes no time as Betsy throws the Sentinels his way...
Actions:
1. Cal rips the incoming Sentinels into spare parts with a magnetic field. 2. Cal uses an electromagnetic pulse to fry the circuits of another column of Sentinels. He will use Forge's inventive genius to target the Sentinels' computer cores. 3. Cal raises a magnetic shield around himself.

The Sentinels quickly fall again, and Forge bursts out on the intercom:
"Almost done with fixing cerebro. Mimic I'm going to need your help to put some panels in place in Cerebro, then once we find out where the rest of the X-Men are we can practice," said Forge.

"I'll be right there," Cal says.
He realizes that he'd be more use in the lab at the moment anyway. The others are starting to gel into a team. Some of them have worked together, others not, but they're professional enough to make it happen.
Still... he'd enjoyed the fight. More than he wanted to admit. It was always easier when he could cut loose with his powers. But it was also more tempting. It'd been too long since he'd been in a real scrape.
"Good work, everyone," he says as he steps out of the Danger Room. "I think we've got a shot."
Cal then returns to Cerebro to help Forge with the finishing touches...

Betsy looks at Cal curiously as he walks out.
She had been watching him carefully during the fight. Mimic seemed to almost be enjoying the battle. It was as though he maintained the appearance of control... but deep down, he got nearly as much of a thrill out of the fight as she did.
Betsy shrugs and readies herself for the next round...

After the exercise is over, Kitty storms over to Juggernaut and promptly begins to yell at him, "What the heck do you think you're doin? Throwing me about! Throw yourself about!" Lockheed hisses at Juggernaut.
Juggernaut points at her, "You're right! I should learn how to throw myself. I'd make a whole mess of damage. By the way, good work. Showed a lot of hussle." Juggernaut is grinning at her.
Kitty looks at him astounded. She sighs, shrugs her shoulders and simply asks, "Just give me a little more warning next time, 'kay buddy?"
Juggernaut rubs the top of his helmet, "I guess if you need more time, I could always throw the sentinels at you." His eyes light up, "Hey that's not a bad idea!"
"Ah, no thanks," she replies quickly. "I'll be more prepared next time. No need to throw any enemies at me. Feel free to throw them at someone else, if you really feel the urge to."
Juggernaut eyeballs Lockheed and mumbles, "Yeah.. throw it at someone else..."
Lockheed lets out a short burst of flame at Juggernaut's face and hisses.
Kitty suggest, "Maybe just stick to throwing sentinels at sentinels, 'kay?"
Juggernaut shrugs his shoulders, "Okay, have it your way."
Kitty sighs in relief and walks over to Gambit, "So what's up next? More sentinels?"

Cal then returns to Cerebro to help Forge with the finishing touches...
As soon as Cal makes it to Cerebro he sees that a few of the panels at the top are missing he quickly puts them on. Forge hooks up the power and Cal sits down and uses Cerebro.
There is a flash of color and Cal is connected to every mind on the planet. Something very odd happens. Cal can't get a lock on any of the X-Men at all, but instead he gets a lock on 4 infinite factories. One in the Savage Land, One in Northern Alaska, one in the Pacific ocean, and one in Egypt. He also gets a look at the guards of each. They are:
Savage Land: Sauron Black Tom Post Mimic Blob Avalanche
Northern Alaska: Dark Beast Sugar Man Slab Gorgeous George Hairbag Ruckus
Pacific Ocean: Deadpool Random Senyaka Katu Barnacle Vindaloo
Egypt: Foxbat Tusk Barrage Spyne Deadbolt Hurricane
Mimic must now decide where to go first. But decides to wait until he gets one more run in the Danger Room, WITH Forge and Beast also. Forge goes ahead, and waits for the others.
Gambit:
Kitty sighs in relief and walks over to Gambit, "So what's up next? More sentinels?"
"Nah I'm all warmed up so how about we try a real challenge non? Computer load program Gladiator 50% power,"
Then a fascimle of the Imperial Guardsman Gladiator appears. Here is a description of Gladiator's powers:
Superhuman strength, speed, endurance, invulnerability to all forms of physical injury, enhanced optic nerves give him telescopic sight and heat vision that can melt through metals, increased lung capacity allows him to create gale force winds by exhaling, possesses the ability to survive unprotected in outer space and enter hyperspace travel, and self-propelled flight. His strength level depends on his confidence - the more confident he is the more powerful he becomes, but if he doubts himself he quickly weakens.
OoC: I will post power descriptions of the other villains as we get to each location.

Mimic:
Cal links telepathically with everyone except Juggernaut.
"His weakness is his confidence," Cal says. "We need to hit him as hard as we can. If we can shatter his self-belief, he'll be easier to manage."
"Juggy, hit him," he goes on. "Psylocke and I will try to contain him. The rest of you can try to distract him with hit and run."
Actions:
1. Mimic will use his telepathy to try to plant self-doubt in Gladiator's mind. 2. Mimic will hit Gladiator with a psi-blast and try to knock him unconscious. 3. Mimic keeps a magnetic shield up.
Psylocke:
Betsy tries to keep composure. Even at half power, she knows how strong Gladiator is.
"Oh, you've got to be bloody kidding me," she says. "Bring it on, then."
Actions:
1. Betsy throws a TK shield around Gladiator's head. The idea is to shield everyone from any heat vision or super-breath attacks. 2. Betsy will try to restrain Gladiator by using her TK to control the Sentinel spare parts that are lying around. 3. Betsy keeps a TK shield up.

Juggernaut says, "Oh great! This ugly guy?!"
Actions: 1. Juggernaut runs forward, stopping only a couple of feet in front of Gladiator. 2. He slaps his hands together, right around Gladiator's head. 3. He prepares himself to be flung.

Kitty pouts, "Distract him, eh... " Lockheed whines. Kitty smiles, "I got an idea. Something that'll really unnerve him."
Actions: 1. Lockheed flies around and around Gladiator, breathing fire every now and then. 2. Kitty jumps on Juggernaut's back. 3. She phases them both out before Gladiator can hit him.

Gambit watches as Kitty and Juggernaut's plan succedes, then Gambit pole vaults over Gladiator's head but Gladiator swings and hits air as one of Forge's hologram inventions is revealed.
Gladiator smiles a confident smirk as he noticed that Gambit placed a couple charged cards on his back, and they blow singing Gladiator's back but leaving him unscathed, then the magnetic and telekinetic ram hits Gladiator and staggers him.
Forge takes some of the salvageable materials from the sentinels and creates a miniature portal to an unknown location, but it quickly sputters out, and Forge dodges a piece of sentinel that Gladiator throws at him.
"Do you honestly think your puny attacks can stop me the praetor of the Imperial Guard?" cockily taunted Gladiator.

Juggernaut growls, "Time to run right through this joker."
Kitty thinking fast sends a thought to Mimic- When Jug Head here runs through Gladiator, make Gladiator think Juggy took his clothes. It's hard to be confident when you think you're fighting naked.
Actions for Juggernaut 1. Juggernaut attempts to run right through Gladiator. 2. Passing right through he'll quickly turn and wonder what happened. 3. He'll try kicking Gladiator in his back.
Kitty thinks- I hope Gladiator thinks this big oaf is just a hologram.
Kitty's Actions 1. She hangs on Juggernaut's back for dear life. Keeping them both phased out. 2. She unphases them both when Juggernaut tries to kick Gladiator. 3. She phases them both out after the kick is made.
Lockheed's Actions 1. Runs 2. Hides 3. Growl's at Gladiator when he's not looking.

"Phasing his clothes off might be easier," Mimic psi-calls to Kitty. "Also less likely to make him mad. But I do like your plan. Maybe there's another way..."
He then mind-links with Betsy.
"Betts, I need you to shred his costume telekinetically," Cal mindspeaks. "Make it look like the costume just got ripped in the struggle."
"On it," Betsy replies.
Mimic Actions:
1. As Juggy hits, Cal will create a telepathic illusion, making Gladiator think his costume got torn apart in the struggle. (The idea is for it to NOT look deliberate.) 2. Cal will attempt to use telepathy to undermine Gladiator's confidence. 3. Cal will maintain his magnetic shield.
Psylocke Actions:
1. Under cover of Mimic's illusion, Betsy will tear Gladiator's costume apart telekinetically. 2. Betsy will maintain the TK globe on Gladiator's face, to block heat vision and super-breath. 3. Betsy will maintain her TK shield.
