A perfectly valid approach. I don't see anything wrong with elementalists as a start.

Then maybe it needs to be reworded as invulnerable - as in, not being hurt.
Anyone skilled in fighting would probably wear Carl down. He'd get tired, just not hurt.

Invulnerability sounds more like what you're aiming for, yeah.

So I edited it to be invulnerable. Still, it'll be up to Buffy whether that's okay.

Right. The important thing is that you have a feel for the format.

I see Decoy going down to a 90 pound girl with martial arts. ^_^

As for the elemental power, how extensive can it be to say that the person has control over the element. I mean, I was also wondering whther the person could merge with the element, or would that be a completely seperate power?

Sounds like a GM call to me, I think. Depends what Buff would allow.

Yeah, guess I'll have to wait to see what she says.

haha... ok, maybe I'll let Gray do some co-gming? lol... thanks Gray for all the input, I WAS thinking of a making up a different character sheet, but I guess we can stick with this one, considering this RPG is more about Story then Strict rules and profiles.
In answer to your questions Silva, If you gave me an example, I guess I could understand what your talking about, are you talking about A water elementalist being able to turn into water? (and such)

Sounds cool, Buff. Night Spider is now up as per the new sheet. I'm also wondering if maybe it would be a good idea to add basic equipment and such too. This would account for things like Night Spider's photon sword, thieves' tools, and the usual Bat-inspired tools that he carries.

Buffy - yeah, I guess I'm wondering what an elementalist can do? How much control over the element does the person have? Would he/she need a source to draw from or would it be themselves? What are the limits?
So can a water elementalist become water, manipluate water, create water, purify water, etc?
And how would this combine in a person who has two elements? Like Fire and Water, would the person be able to mix the two elements into attacks or defenses?
Or is that too much for this game? I kinda feel like a person with the two powers over fire and water might be too powerful.

Guess I'll throw in Microbe. Here's a basic description:
Teenage hero who can shrink. The smaller he gets the stronger he gets. Up to Spider-Man level. He cannot shrink too small or else he'll turn himself into a black hole, he also has a rocket belt similar to the one Wonder Man wore before he became pure ionic energy. I'll create a new character sheet soon as I get some stuff done. Likely tomorrow.

Sounds good SPS
Ok, well Silva, I don't mind total control over a single element, but it would be good to see your own limits, for instance, Elliot had a fairly powerful character in Meta Man with the sentinels, where he had control over sonar energy, and used it mostly as a weapon and in terms of sheilds. But it would require him to recharge his batts every day or so.
So basically, Id rather the character didnt have infinite control without some sort of catch.
With that in mind, you can use two elements, as long as there's a limit.
We need Storm, rather then thor, if that makes sense?

okay, I get it. I was kinda thinking that they'd need a source of the element, or else they'd pull on their own inner energy, which would be very draining. I'm just not sure how you'd want to handle the source.
For instance, if controling fire, using a lighter as a source would not last as long as using a building on fire. That could be a limit. I guess you'd decide how long a source would last depending on how the power is used.
Also, do you want me to define some "spells" that they know? In others words, write down exactly how they know to use the power, like to create a shield or a weapon, etc. This would also limit them a bit, until they learned new ways to use their power. If you want, you could give me a number and that's how many "spells" they'd know for each element.

No Silva, you dont need that much detail, the original concept of this type of thing is primarily for the sake of fun story writing and character development.
Your limits and "spell knowledge" or whatever is up to you. Just remember to be fairly mature about it. We want a challenging game that will find each character stretched in some way.
So with that in mind, create what you want, but anything unearthly or monstrous in power levels might make the whole thing a bit easy for your character.
I may be suicidal in my message here, but I trust that if people understand the concept I just explained, we should have a fairly ok and uncomplicated game, that will turn more into a sort of murder mystery rather then a dice rolling or stats filled game.
oh, and sorry for not being around for so long

Thanks Buffy. If I have questions as to whether my characters actions are too powerful, I'll just ask. But I intend to keep them balanced.
