This as requested by Shan
"Perhaps I Should entertain you (I couldn't keep the smile of my face
when I said this)with a story, explaining how I got hold of my lethal
Lover, at least it will keep us amused, until Elfiran returns".
"Well it went like this" I started, "some 100 years back when I was still
a YOUNG one, I was training at the school of Julianos, of which I am now
a Patriarch(Matriarch?)and one miserable winter day, I was sent on a
quest to a far eastern land, you may have heard of it, in those days it
was called Nippondasa, I was to retrieve a article of Holy power, and if
my memory serves me correctly, it was a actual Icon of Julianos, which
had some finger bones embedded in the frame".
"This" I was told " was originally stolen by the thieves guild for pure
profit, unfortunately, Father Sylvan, had not been able to track the
Item until then".
"So, after purchasing a ships fare I was of to Nippondasa, and after a
journey of nearly eight months I arrived there, got some answers from
the contact, supplied by the good Father, I was of to the Temple of
Takara, who was and I stress was a old God of the Nippondasians and long
forgotten, and so was the temple, I had never seen anything so lifeless
and desolate in my life"
"A little hesitation never hurt anyone" so I recollect," however I
entered and found myself promptly in the middle of a ghost reunion or
what ever there equivalent is, there were many of them, and I thanked
Julianos for my, then. trusty silver blade"
"Lady of Faith, must have been with me, cause after I dispatched those
poor wretches, the first turn right brought me to a large oval chamber,
decorated with banners that had mysterious letters written on them, the
strange thing was, that all the letters were written in a vertical
alignment", but I digress," at the end of the oval there was a most
unusual altar, curlicues and pointed upturned corners all over the
thing, BUT...... right smack in the middle of the altar, I could see the
Icon, and I carefully made my way towards it, I had the opportunity once
to find out about trapdoors and pits, so these days I am twice careful,
I look, search and hold my levitate spell handy".
"Eventually, I got there and regained the Icon, but Lo and Behold,
behind the altar, their I saw the corpse of a long dead err...
Nippondasian warrior I guess, his armor was most interesting, it seem to
be painted and felt very light and strong, but alas it must have been
there a long time, when I tried to put it on it just crumbled into
dust".
As I said, "Lady of Faith, was with me and I found this most unusual
sword," and I slowly got Sacre Noir out of her scabbard and proudly show
it to you," you can see, it is not quite as long as a Broadsword and it
only has one edge, a slight shimmer of magicka is visible, I was most
interested, so I cast the Identify Item spell, and found out that this
is a Katana, at least in Tamrellian, it does chop and hack very nicely
though as it appears to have a very sharp edge that never seems to dull,
the more important parts are the properties of this weapon, whenever I
strike some ugly enemy with it, I seem to heal any wounds that I have at
a very rapid rate and it most definitely doesn't like undead, which I
think must be a blessing, considering I usually have a hard time
chopping up skeletons and the like".
"I returned victoriously to Valenwood with the Icon, where father Sylvan
was extremely gratified with my deed, so much so that he translated the
words "Sacre Noir" for me, it meant Sacred Black in a archaic language
that was long dead so he said"
And that my friends is the story of Sacre Noir, I hope that it
entertained you and mayhaps you have learned some what about my past.
