I'm up for it! I'm happy with any genre, though I tend to prefer modern or sci-fi over old-fantasy.

I want to pursue either something superheroic or sci-fi ish. I think it would be cool to do something similar to Pitch Black if we did a Sci-Fi thing. Of course this could be incorporated into a superhero thing also. For example here's a basic idea for the sci-fi portion of it:
Sometime in the future the universe has become a dark place. An alien race called the Unbound has taken over the universe. Nothing is known about this race except that twenty years ago they swept through the universe and conquered it in record time bringing darkness and corruption wherever they went. Even going so far as to blanket sentient worlds with their dark matter cloaks blocking out whatever natural light would reach the planet adding to the sense of depression.
But something odd is happening. In a section of the universe that has been empty for millenia on a world that due to there being constant eclipses no life can exsist humans from throughout history are being gathered. Ordinary people who just happened to be either traveling in their car, walking in a dark cave or whatever were teleported to this remote planet. They remember everything of their past. But they don't know why they're there.

I would run it sort of like one of those continuing story things. There is one style of RPG that I liked alot for examples see the Knights of Moorleans, and X-Men: Apocalyptic Visions threads. I would just have to modify them for a sci-fi RPG. I definetly want to do a mix of Sci-Fi/Fantasy for my RPG, and I like the example idea I had. If I get enough people to join up I will start it up.

For the time commitment it depends on how involved you want to get and also I will wait before I do any major plot developments if you can't post every day. There would be much typing early on as the characters get to know each other but it's really up to you how much typing is involved. We now have enough people involved and I will get a character sheets and a prologue developed soon. |

They're going good. Sorry about the delay I just got caught up with personal stuff like hanging out and whatnot. I'm still interested in doing an RPG. In fact I'll have the character sheets up and backstory up soon.

K illl be gone for 2 weeks. One of those weeks ill have my laptop, one i wont. Ill have it not this week =/ lol.
So I'll hopefully be able to start making my sheet/character in 1 week when I get back from Alaska, before I go to Oregon.
Start without me if you guys all get jump started so soon.

I was interested in starting one also but I got distracted with work and school myself. Unfortunately it looks as if I'll be busy for the next couple years with school so I may not have as much time as I'd like to.
Anyhow Elliot is starting up a Sci-Fi RPG so I recommend joining up with him.
