Well I've been thinking a lot about what I eat lately so all I've been consumating is low fat meat so it's mostly been poultry with a bit of pork and beef. I was dreading to change my eating habits but it's been surprisingly easy.
Anyway as a bit of a reward, or maybe the result of sheer lunacy, I bought some big sausages and wrapped some bacon around it with a side dish of fettuchine pasta.
Damn good ;D

Didn't have anything for dinner AGAIN --- but that's mostly cuz I've been sleeping at odd hours lately. Haven't had much energy lately. Bah.
If I have anything later it'll probably be corn dogs though.

Oddly enough on this hot day I'm cooking Beef Stew. Actually it's because we had stewing beef in the fridge and I didn't want it to go to waste.

splurged a bit last nite.
had 'koei tiaw' in tomato sauce ('koei tiaw' is a kind of noodle, flat & wide), lemon chicken, buttered prawns, leafy vege stir fried with garlic. almost went for squid too but that's just too much for two people.

As long as you leave off the squid, I'll have some. When can I expect it. Shan

it's a big table, Shan. might as well order some more - how do u like beancurd stew Szechuan style? maybe steamed fish with salted vege? or fish head curry with lady fingers? stir fried mixed vege? shark fin soup (hot & sour)? thai chicken (spicy)?

No fish. Don't like fish. *Yuck* Will take the stir fried mixed vegetables, some of the Thai spicey chicken, and would be willing to try you beancurd stew Szechuan style. Order plenty. We are hungry and we'll be right there. Shan

Yay, Phil is on my side Jags. No fish for him either. ..........Sorry, I guess I forgot to tell you that he is coming for dinner too. I got sick on fish when I was little and I haven't liked fish since. I've tried it twice since then and I can't stand even stand the thought of eating it. Both times I ended up throwing it away. Shan

Ditto here, actually. Tuna made me sick for some reason. Never been able to like seafood either, even the real fancy restaurants. Just not my thing I guess.

The only kind of seafood I can stand to eat is shrimp and lobster. The rest, forget it. I don't care for tuna either. Shan

Backed potatoes. Best. Ever. Except french fried ones, maybe. (Half kidding, half serious, since I actually love backed potatoes ! )
