aria -> here we also have some kind of sushi but the local kind. originally from the people called Melanau (one of the indigenous tribes in Sarawak), they are traditionally fishermen so they have all sorts of fishy recipes. one of them is raw fish (to Shan & Phil -> say YUCK! ;D ) which u 'cook' using a kind of fruit which is nastier than lime plus grounded chilli. really really good.
for the fish haters -> do u take crabs? sea weed? sea cucumber? jellyfish? squid?

well it's really hard to describe actually. ;D honest! ok, let me try nevertheless; it tastes mild (almost tasteless) without any strong flavour, which is nice with squeezed lime juice & grounded chilli. hot & sour, one of chinese cold dish item (if u ever go for chinese style course dinner). u have to try it to know it, i guess. sorry if i sound so vague & provide no satisfactory answer.

Lately I haven't been eating much at all for dinner due to the job. End up just eating some chips and having a pop. Not the healthiest but hey it works especially because I go right to sleep when I get home.

The other day, my dad grilled up some ribs (from Schwans, of course) - very very good! ^_^
Had chicken fries last night, yet another great Schwan's food. ^_~

being a good old kitchen fan (love to cook), today we did something simple yet very good:
boiled some tagliatelli (the curly spagetti) and aside, we mixed a nice tomato homemade juice, onion, garlic, some natural herbs all very well choped off with a top notch olive oil. let everything heat up and smell good. then you add a nice handful of small pieces of ham and at the end a little bit of cheese.
when the tagiatelli is "al dente" (perfectly boiled point - not too much boiled) you poure some lemon drops and add it to the stuff you coked aside and there you have it, a nice simple home made meal.
you can decorate with some olives and herbs
it's good and easy
regards, Pedro.
