There's a new Death Jr. miniseries. I love Ted Naifeh's artwork and the first miniseries was awesome. I hope this new one is just as good.

A couple of months ago I decided to stop collecting all monthly titles mainly because I just grew tired of expensive prices, simply poor stories and everything else that is generally complained about when talking about comics.

But now I've decided to start again but with a much reduced pull list and of totally different titles:

Only getting back issues and Essential/Showcases now. I was sick to death of everything Marvel was doing before Civil War and now after it, from what I've read and heard about on the web they've severly damaged the Marvel Universe beyond repair.

I have no idea how they're gonna get the universe back to a sense of normality and I really despise Quesada, Millar etc. for ruining it.

For now I'm just enjoying the old days, back when comics where actually fun and not all about milking cash from readers with massive events every 4 months, variant covers, pointless series and characters acting completely senseless just for a flashy,poorly thought out series.

My comic list has changed a lot in the last year or two, trying out some new titles but generally losing interest pretty quickly. I'm still completely against the state of the MU and the way atrocious editors like Quesada and overly-flashy writers like Bendis and Millar are still given jobs. I know they're 'only comics' but it is sad to see something you've read for so long be treated with a complete lack of respect as the MU, and in particular Spider-Man, has been recently (Civil War, One More Day etc.).

At the moment I'm only picking up Amazing Spider-Man. And that's only to tread water until this whole BND debacle is reverted, and to simply keep up with what the rest of the guys at spiderfan are talking about.
