At least this time it's gotten beyond introducing everyone! ;D
Beautiful art, but the story is readable rather than compelling. Still worth a look, though.

Still really compelling, though. Even though we know who's going to get Senilis' power already, pretty much. All the hints are there for the conditions under which it gets passed on and none of the cast have picked up on it, yet. Thoough that IS reasonable, as we're seeing things from an angle they aren't.
Senilis' tomb didn't open randomly, it opened specifically for Meji...

Just finished reading all the pages of Dark Wings done so far... ehh... it's interesting though I'll come back another time when there're more pages. It's been more than 1 year... and it's still at the starting point. Reading Prime of Ambition now, quite, quite interesting... too bad it's not even halfway through the planned story. jaadrih.comicgenesis.com/d/20060107.html

All of them are going to get slaughtered en masse... unless someone steps up to the fore. Say, how did you know it opened up specifically for Meji? I mean... she literally bumped into the mechanism! But then again, this is no "Indiana Jones" movie where everything happens for a miraculous reason, right?

I'm also remembering that ian got into the first one with seemingly no trouble... If youre an errant, the locks & wards don't seem to exist... I don't think that's an accident. Prime Of Ambition I gave up on a long time ago, as it didn't seem to be going anywhere. Dark Wings, ditto. Though I love the art with dark Wings, it really needs to be read in massive chunks, I think. *** Latest discoveries: Devil Bear which is about the creature that runs the hell for evil teddy bears. Strange, bizarre and funny. Cealdian which is a fantasy kingdom thing. Too new for me to really judge the worth of, yet. Dead Heaven. Very new fantasy series. Not sure where it's going, except that it looks very unlikely to be aimed at young readers. Probably a 15 minimum rating. Artwork is gorgeous. I think I may need a new thread for 'currently reading' soon. This one is getting confusing...

Prime, huh? Well... it could've done without the huge flashback. I mean, the creator could've just summarised it under 20++ pages, right? Dark wings... still have no idea where the plot is heading in and that's not even a good idea. Oh and btw... I just discovered this comic: Hurrocks Fardel. It's rather interesting and very good. It's a post-apocalypse fantasy comic, with a giant fish, dragons, vampires, humans, etc. and all sort of interesting historic traits. Also, it's got about 200++ pages so far. www.drunkduck.com/Hurrocks_Fardel/index.php?p=341581And The Process is bloodily awesome! theprocesscomic.com/intro.htmlAnd yes, this thread is getting too confusing. I just read all pages so far of Dead Heaven ... seems pretty interesting, rather cool and also very confusing as well. At this point, there simply doesn't seem to be any direction and it seems to be throwing in a ton of new locations/possible plot points/cast too. Hopefully, it can work everything out. If not, well... Devil Bear: hilarious! ;D Cealdian: will touch that soon. Oh and I recently read Alpha Shade again... dear gods, the plot is still as confusing as hell even though the art is mightily gorgeous. And it's been running for quite a few years too. ;D

Think I'll start a 'currently reading' thread, soon...

Just finished catching up on it, in fact. Very good, so I think I will add it my 'currently reading' list.
Will look at the other one, soon.

Daidashar knows his/her stuff! I detect a genuine understanding of history...

Daidashar knows his/her stuff! I detect a genuine understanding of history... Well, that IS better than all those people who try to write webcomics based on what they learnt from "random books" and "in class". Ooops... busted! ;D Damn... should've used another nick.

Secret British Intelligence, eh? Reminds me of how cheesy all those Hollywood movies were. ;D

Hmmm it does have some brilliant moments and actually, seems quite well thought-out. However, it feels rather draggy to me.
