Really a shame to see Tony leave. The run never quite came together, though I give the man props for trying.
As for Claremont... well, I can't complain much, really. He's off the core books, and I really think he should stay off after this. I get the feeling CC has been pushed out of the main MU. He's still exclusive to Marvel, so they have to give him something. This isn't a bad solution.
Exiles may not be too bad, as CC comics go these days. Exiles doesn't have a lot of continuity to bother with. CC can bring in anyone he wants, and it's not like he hasn't done this sort of story before. Exiles is basically an ongoing Cross-Time Caper with a variable cast.
Genext... I dunno. Probably not. But I guess we'll see what he has to say about it first.
I sort of look at it this way. At least he's on books where he can't do much real damage to the MU. Exiles is the only title where he could write Rachel Summers as an annoying whiny brat and get away with it. ;D

Yeah, It could be good, though Gen Next seems like another version of the End, but if done right it could be a great counterpoint to DC's John Bryne written Superman/Batman generations mini series
