Green Arrow #60 Majestic #15 Birds of Prey #92 Painkiller Jane #1 and the newly added Witchblade #96 (After reading issues 93,94 and 95 ... just had to add this to my pull ... Marz is doing a great job on this title, although I've never read it before now, I'm glad I took a chance on this) Small $15 week for me. YEEEAAAA ;D On a side note: Steve, do you read Red Sonja ? I picked up issue 1 and 2 when it first came out (never read them :  , but never picked up another issue. I see your still buying Conan so I was wondering if you read Sonja and, more importantly, if it was any good. |

I dropped Red Sonja not too long ago, Perry.
It's... okay. It's not bad, but the book bores me now. It reads like stock fantasy adventure to me. Sonja should be more interesting than she comes across as. Deep down, she is actually a very screwed up woman, but that aspect of her is never really explored.
That said, I am reading the Red Sonja vs. Thulsa Doom mini that PAD is co-writing. That story is better, but still not great. Still, I like the idea of Sonja taking on one of the bigger Howard villains.
The character has some potential, but the stories aren't living up to it.
