Nextwave #3: If someone could manufacture the greatness that is Nextwave into pills, it would cure all ilness, made Dubya a speaker with a three digit IQ and somehow give Keanu Reeves the ability to act. Yes, it's that great.
Daredevil #83: Man, I can't even begin to describe how stupid I find Daredevil as a character, and how Brubaker only the second writer who has not only made the title readable, but actually great.
Hyperion #5: For some reason, I wanted to see if Straczinsky's Supreme series wasn't as completely devoid of any original, dull and not particularly well-written as I tought. But, alas, it was exactly as completely devoid of any original, dull and not particularly well-written as I imagined. So I just read this one and won't bother again.
Still haven't read Cap, JSA and Batman. Save it for later.

I TOTALLY agree with your Nextwave acessment. I partially agree with your opinion on Dardevil Yes on the writing No on the character (Stupid ? really) And I Totally disagree with your Hyperion. I guess that I am 50/50 with ya.

Yes, there is not enough conceptual hyperbole to describe the greatness of Newtwave.
I've always hated Daredevil, but for some reason, have picked the title once in a while. The first was with Miller, which like everyone was blown away with it, then with Kesel (bad), then Smith (badder) and Bendis (baddest). Brubaker's DD is the first one since Miller that has actually been compelling and readable.
About Hyperion..well. I meant JMS' Squadron Supreme as a whole. Read all of it. Found it Dull, boring and incredible pretentious when it's basically about themes and ideas I've already read in much, much better ways.
Still haven't read the rest of my picks..

Great Cap issue (Can't believe Steve is not reading this ) I am in love with Sin. She is soooo damn badass.

Yes, indeed it was a kick ass issue. This continues to be Marvel's top title.

I must admit I am intrigued to see whether Bru's Sin is as good as mine... Not sure I want to affect my own idea of her, though. And yes - I started writing her before he did

No thanks, Hec, though I appreciate the offer If you have a really good pic of her though, I could use that. Useful for the bio I'll get round to writing one of these days...

In all honesty, she was sorta one dimensional in THIS issue (as bad as she was), but the issue prior to this, before her "return", was one of the best comics I have read in a long time. The conflict was shown perfectly.
Her and Crossbones do make a great pair though.

She's such an under-developed character that she could be developed in many ways with equal fidelity to the original. I suspect Bru's take will be very good - but nothing like my take. There's very little that was ever established about Sin, and she hasn't appeared in a very long time. I thought Marvel had forgotten her, which seemed odd to me. I mean: "The Daughter of The Red Skull" gives you tingles just with that one sentence, doesn't it? What do you do with the child of the most evil man on Earth? A character no other writer has done much at all with, so that she's almost a blank slate? It's a writer's dream

Ahh, man. Either I forgot Daredevil or it wasn't in - X-Men definitely wasn't, I checked quite thoroughly (dunno why, really. Last ish was pish.)
So I had: Cap (in all honesty, after some early possible mis-steps, I think Gru fans could get behind this; I freaking love Crossbones as a villain), Nextwave (hmm), Batman (when did James Robinson get so... dull?) and Hellblazer (pretty good + Scotland, represent.)
