Now that Infinite Crisis is over and 52 is almost two months old, I am curious to see what questions others are looking to see answered. What mysteries do you want resolved? Post them here and we can answer them as they come undone. For starters...
Does Alan/GL have Capt Comet's eye? Who did Supergirl have a romance with in space? And how is the Monitor being resurrected ("seemingly" killed is the clue)?

I don't think The Monitor is being ressurected. I think someone else will take his place, i.e. Martian Manhunter.

I don't think Alan Scott has Captain Comet's eye. His new eye looks alien, and Comet's were normal human. That said, with all the weird shifting it's not easy to tell who has what where...

Why kill Superboy? That's what I want to know!

I think that's a copyright issue, Clover. Apparently, DC hold the rights to the image and a lot of other things, so no-one else can print Superboy stuff, but they don't hold copyright on the actual name of Superboy. The guy who invented him does. It all got a bit complicated for me, so I'm not sure I've got it entirely right, but it's something like that. Welcome back, BTW

I think that's a copyright issue, Clover. Apparently, DC hold the rights to the image and a lot of other things, so no-one else can print Superboy stuff, but they don't hold copyright on the actual name of Superboy. The guy who invented him does. It's actually the other way around. The names "Superman", "Superboy", etc aren't copyrights. Names can't be copyrighted. They are, however, trademarks. DC Comics owns every trademark of the Superman mythos lock, stock and barrel. And unlike copyrights, they doesn't expire unless they aren't enforced. What may be in dispute (as much as anything can be disputed when the opponent is a monolith like Time-Warner) is the copyright. And that's when it gets muddled. See, Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster didn't create Superman as work for hire for the then National Periodicals, he was sold to the company for the much infamous amount of $130 dlls. About a decade passed and as they were getting less and less work, the decided to sue DC to gain their rights back. They lost, but strangely, the judge declared Superboy as a separate character (here we are still talking about the Superboy who would become Superman) and assigned the rights to Siegel and Shuster. Who in turn sold the rights again to DC, this time for $100,000 dlls. This is what prompted DC to remove all credits for the duo until the 70's when a combination of a campaign headed by Neal Adams and the desire to avoid bad publicity for the upcoming Superman film restored the credits. A few decades ago a law was passed which extended the holding of the rights for several years. It also allowed a window of opportunity for original creators to terminate the transfer of copyright. The Siegel's heirs sued again and the court upheld the past decition made in 1947 that defined Superboy as a separate character, not made work for hire and belonging to Siegel and Shuster. So, under the copyright extension law provisions, the judge granted the Siegel's heirs the revoking of the Superboy transfer of copyright effective as of November 2004. So, whould this caused the death of Superboy in Infinite Crisis? I don't know. As registered by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, DC Comics, Inc. holds the trademark of the Superboy name, and I doubt any judge would rule that Conner Kent/Kon-El is the same character as 'the boy who would become Superman'. Even stranger is that by the changes made in DC's New Earth, Superman having a career as Superboy was reinstated in the DCU continuity. My first instinct would be to say that even if it did influenced the decition to kill him, Johns would have still picked him. Conner was in many ways a perfect character to kill. Famous, and very important between the readers and the characters themselves but not a completely essential character.

Anyone know of any good 8C timelines? Specifically how Winnick's Batman ties in around it all?

The OMAC Project mini from last year is the best place to start for Batman's IC ties. I don't think it's been released in trade form yet.

Anyone know of any good 8C timelines? Specifically how Winnick's Batman ties in around it all? INFINITE CRISIS SECRET FILES AND ORIGINS and the BATMAN ANNUAL (forgot issue number at the moment, but it's this year's, I think?) ties-in with the Winnick Red Hood thing.

If In Doubt, Ask Hector - it should be a rule Truth be told that is who I was angling for, just didn't want to outright blatantly say it. ;D Cheers Hec.

Does Capt Comet die during 52? DC solicitations for September have a new Capt. As well as the return of the Weird (ugh).

Great looking cover I hope Comet makes it, though. He's rather a good character.

Well, DC's Brave New World added a few questions in regards to the Monitor. How did he/they survive? What role will he play?
