Not that we couldn't have told them that, of course! but it seems Marvel have finally realised the same thing. From 'The Marvel Tarot' (Useful research from my POV ;D): "Hard as Amanda tries, there is only one Magik" Took 'em long enough to grasp the obvious, but they've gotten there at last, which is cause for happiness from my POV And yes, they DO make it explicit that DOES mean Yana!

Good. About frickin' time, you ask me. There was absolutely no way that anyone else could be Magik. It was also implausible that Yana could be really dead, given everything that had been established about her in Magik and in New Mutants. I'm glad to see that Marvel finally got it, even if it took them 20 years. Now if they can only figure out that the Soulsword can't be used by just anybody... ;D

Steady on there, Steve! It took them twenty years to take the first step! I'm not holding my breath for the second, just yet! ;D

Seemed kind of an obvious way to bring her back, really. Still nice to know, though. I think I read somewhere that we'd be seeing more of Illyana by next year. So I doubt we've seen the last of her. Here's hoping she ends up in good hands. Fewer and fewer though those may be at Marvel, but still.

True, but we can hope... Just dare not hope too much...
