Cool stuff. Whedon definitely knows his craft. That having been said, I'm quite glad he didn't follow through on his plans for Tara. She adds a lot more creative impact dead than she ever did alive, especially for Willow. And I rather like the notion that in the Buffyverse, the most mundane deaths are the ones that are the most irreversible. Some definitely interesting material here, though. I like his thoughts on worldbuilding and characterization, and how he developed Illyria. I'm looking forward to Sugarshock and may at least look into Angel: After The Fall. Intriguing.

Fred was the most useless and annoying character in Angel. Illyria ruled Tara was definitely better dead than alive, and I really hope she stays dead in the comics, too. No real personality or character development - she was just boring.

Yep - some of the best Willow moments ever! And all leading up to Xander's greatest moment. Tara served the series wonderfully by dying
