The first time I tried it, I wasn't too impressed. It seemed a bit too easy compared to the other TW games, even though I loved the game engine. I even left it for a few months before going back to it. Now... Well, I've got to say, I was wrong. Not only does it get amazingly harder as you go into it. but the non-Roman factions have an incredible struggle not to be wiped out before they ever start building anything. Pretty darn perfect, in fact So - are there any other Rome fans out there? And if not - what is your favourite RTS?

Back to slowly moving Carthage towards domination of the ancient world Pesky Romans keep trying to take Rome back! Anyone would think it was their capital I'd grabbed! ;D

Never played it.
I'm not much into RTS, though I do need to try and get into them

I wouldn't start with Rome as the first RTS you ever played. Not unless you have an interest in medieval & earlier battle tactics, at least
