Hey DVD.... How does Chaos theory compare to the original and Pandora? Better, worse, in-between? Better! The AI's much improved, and there are so many more moves and such that they're running out of buttons. Thought that that would bother me, but not so much. It's a little longer (from what I can tell) than the other two, as well. I loved the first two, and they just keep getting better and better, imho.

Looks like Chaos moves up on my "better get it" list. The AI was my main gripe with the first two games.
Incidently.......
Just finished Batman Begins. Most definitely the best of DC's hero games for this generation of consoles. Very moody. My main gripe is that it's a little too linear, and there's no ability to wander and explore, but it's still a very very solid and fun game.

Currently I’m playing Gothic 2 + Night of The Raven (G2+NoTR). I am using the player made conversion mod to covert the German version of NoTR to English. I can say without hesitation the mod works perfect and NoTR makes G2 a 100% better game. The NoTR Expansion doesn’t just add a little section to the game, what it does is it changes the entire story as a whole. If you have or are playing G2 without NoTR, then you haven’t or you’re not really playing G2. NoTR makes that much of a difference to the game. Tsel

NWN's original Single player campaign is not that great. Very hack-n-slashy and not too much really of RPG'ing, compared to other Bioware games -- like say Baldur's Gate (PC) series, and SW: KOTOR.
Though, SOU expansion was quite good -- and definitely many steps up from the original campaign. The HOTU expansion was just plain great -- especially for an expansion.

Welcome to Chaos mysterd. Yeah, I've given up on NWN for the time being, I think.

I couldn't have said it better myself. Even though Hordes was only for single player and I would have loved to have seen it as a multi expansion I still thought it was the best of the 3. Played it multi anyway the first time I played, had some problems (not many), but it was great even like that. Shan

Welcome to Chaos mysterd. Yeah, I've given up on NWN for the time being, I think. Thanks. NWN: Original single player campaign shines in the first and last chapter -- it's the in-between chapters that are dull. Mainly, the stuff involving the quarantine and the issues w/ Aribeth is the game's strength, in the story and everything. It's the whole uprising of an ancient race thing that drags on and gets quite boring in the middle 2 chapters. Though, the expansions are good -- especially HOTU. Skip the original campaign and play the expansions.

Shan Well, Hordes was intended to be SP-based -- mainly to rectify everyone complaining on the original box campaign and to give those a step-up from SOU. There was nothing for NWN to fix in the MP dept. -- the MP component is solid and if that was not enoguh, the mod community has done a lot w/ the MP aspect of the game. The Aurora Engine is one fine engine. I'm looking forward to what Obsidian can come up w/ for NWN 2

I'm looking forward to NWN 2. Haven't played what i've got very much, but I've enjoyed it. I just don't play much on the computer because when I'm on the computer, I'm either working or here posting! ;D
I'm so excited because I just bought Yu-Gi-Oh Capsule Monster Colliseum for only $20 new! I really enjoyed this particualr storyline in the manga so I was curious about this game, but didn't want to spend $30 for it. I was assuming that a used copy would go down to $20 soon, but I found it at Best Buy new for $20. Which means I got the three rare cards that I can give to my nephew for his birthday - he'll love them.
Now if only they'd do a videogame of the roleplaying minature game that was in Yu-Gi-Oh - I would so get that!

Thanks for the advice mysterd - but I think I'll just wait for Dragon Age SOU and HOTU aren't that expensive. Like $10-20, these days. Especially if you need a RPG gaming fix, since there aren't many new ones around, since most of the big titles aren't out until Fall 2005....
